Wonderful Onederland Reached!

Recommended Posts

Finally! After almost a 3 week stall it broke this morning and I am at 198.2!!!!! It is WONDERFUL in ONEderland!!! These 13-15 pounds that I have been dealing with for about 4-5 months (when I actually tipped 199) have drove me craaazy!

I am here to tell everyone that the stalls DO break and as frustrating as it was DURING the stall, stepping on that scale and FINALLY seeing it MOVE is soooooo REFRESHING!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

So everyone that is about 5 1/2 weeks out.... tie a knot at the end of your rope and hang in there, this too shall pass if you are in a stall!!!!

ALWAYS KEEP ROCKIN' YOUR SLEEVE!!!!

XOXOXOX!

Amy

Good job Amy!!! I also teetered right on the edge of wonder-land (and then again at my 100 lb mark) and it was horrible.... but it felt awesome when it finally moved! You are right, stalls will happen and they will pass!

Congrats on doing so well!

I cant lie and say the thought of me being THE ONE that doesnt lose weight with this surgery didnt cross my mind! :)

Congrats to you!!!! Wow! You have done awesome Rockin' that Sleeve!!!

11 lbs is GREAT though!! I know it seems like a lot of people do at least one or two really large drops in the beginning, but you may be like me. I lost 2-3 lbs consistently from the very beginning. There have of course been a few stalls here and there, but that is normal. Also, did you stall at 3 weeks? Pretty much everyone does, but if you didn't this might just be what that was... at some point after surgery your body has to stop to readjust and that is the infamous 3 week stall.

I know slow losing a the beginning is tough, because 2, 3 lbs here and there... 10 lbs overall, 15 pounds... when you are comparing it to the 100+ that most of us have to lose it seems insignificant... but I PROMISE that as it adds up and you look back, those 1 lb, 2 lbs drops will feel amazing! Also, supposedly if you lose slower supposedly you don't have as many skin issues as your skin has more time to keep up with your body. Not sure if this is true, but hey... maybe!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
