  1. The dr often over bills and wouldn't worry until your DR send a bill to you I was afraid I owed too but never got a bill from DR. I personal wouldn't call DR until he sent a bill.
  2. This is a hard time with liquid diet but it's worth it hang in there hope all goes well with your surgery.
  3. I think hummingbird is right I was banded same day as you I have had two fills at 3 cc now in a 10 cc band I have restriction and I don't feel hungry between meal you may need to unfill to see what you have in band it also could have a leak but I have heard that some bands just lose small amt of fill over time.
  4. Last night was sooo hard woke up several times choking.? I really don't want to unfil everything else is just right. ;,,(
  5. Just got a 1cc fill leaving me with a 3 cc fill I have been having bad acid reflux. At night. Ill be sleeping and acid shoots up in my thirst chocking me. I have even raised head of bed taken nexium before bed but still wake up with reflux. Does this go away after a while I'm at good spot with fill other wise decreased hunger ect. I'm going to try drinking only shakes for tomorrow. Hoping not to have a unfill i dont have much in my band just 3cc ? Has anyone had this and it went away after awhile? Should I be eating different?
  6. Hope you are doing good. Welcome to a new life!!
  7. I may do surgery if possible at 35 to go but it really depends on your bmi does your wt now after 15 lbs off still put at a high enough bmi to have surgery?? I knw a lot of people have goals that still leave them at a high bmi. Good luck to talk to surgeon to help decide

  9. Good for you. It's great feeling isn't it? Enjoy your new you!
  10. You need some to learn to let the band work for you if you take mess you won't be able to find your green spot. With the right amt of fill.

  12. I was band dec /11 and I still every once and a while have a little pain at port site.
  13. I take mulit , calcium , biotin to prevent hair loss and b complex.with iron I also take fiber to stay reg with high protein low carb diet and omega vit and I keep my protein up to 80-/+ good luck to you!
  14. What you're going through is sooo normal. Before u got band u thought yuck I have to eat blended food then after the broth jello and protein shakes I was so ready for that baby food. Haa just be careful when you start it's easy to over do it. I had restriction so couldn't eat much at all. Some people say they didn't have restriction at this time. My dr told me if that happened to make sure not to over eat at that time because your stitches are still healing around the band they hold band in place to prevent slipping. The pouch is also forming you do not want to stretch it
  15. Be patient give your self time to heal. It is very important to follow dr orders on diet. This is time your band is setting in place the stitches holding the band in place are healing the stitches keep your band from sliping. So blend what eat and follow dr orders hang in there!
  16. Sorry crazy phone it sounded to me that you have decided to have surgery just checking on a few points?? . I drink a little When I go out with friends I haven't notice change in consumption but I cannt drink a lot of beer due to the carbonation I work in healthcare with heavy lifting and I was able to return to full duty 3 weeks per dr but I also had foot surgery at same time and didn't go back for 2 months. So not sure how it would effect you. Good luck!
