  1. So u had a BMI of 35. U had ur procedure done in Mexico. I know that dr Garcia uses 32 bougie which is a small time and sometimes it takes longer to heal. Make sure u get in your fluid intake and protein shakes as much as possible. I concur with taking a PPI for stomach acid. U are still early out and these symptoms of nausea might stop. Let us know what ur doc says.
  2. You are so lucky, your stomach looks really good too, not too much loose skin there....
  3. What a beautiful transformation. Way to go girl!
  4. Feeling good about myself. loving people for their kind hearts.
  5. I totally applaud you for getting new shoes. Our feet are extremely important to take care of. Did you buy smaller shoes?
  6. Looking good! Rock that sleeve
  7. What a wonderful journey you had! Congrats! I wish my niece would go see Dr Garcia.
  8. Laura it is shocking to hear the bad news of a friend that was healthier 2 weeks before. My cousin had the same thing. Going to options class for the sleeve and then 4 rumors and 3 weeks later we had to pull the plug. it was hard to not be able to turn to food. I did keep myself busy.
  9. Well 5 bites of food isn't enough to get your metabolism going. Increase your calories to about 1000 and go back to basics for about 5 days. BTW what do you eat ? Portion sizes etc?
  10. Proud Grammy would never be disrespectful to anyone on here. She is being light hearted and kindling. What she is saying is that at such a young age the OP is having a lot of anxiety about this issue. I work on staying in the present moment all the time. When I focus on the future I miss out in today.
  11. It's too bad your hubby can't just be supportive and stop trying to sabotage your diet. I was very lucky to have a supportive husband. Right before the surgeon came in I told my husband and son that I wanted to run and he told me to just do it. Never talked about it and then he pushed me to talk to my beautiful niece who has diabetes that is totally out of control to have this surgery. That really rocked my boat. He love's my body even with the saggy boobs and no butt. LOL
  12. I confess, I really want to get to a comfortable size S in tops and now that I'm in a size 6 pants I want to be a size 4. But last night when my elbow bumped by hip bone, it really hurt. LOL I love your honestness and all of us concur rather we realize it or not. Thanks for this post.
  13. Proud granny is right. The hunger does come back. Then we have to work on our head hunger issues as well. We learn how to make better choices. I for one have gotten addicted to Quest Protein bars. Then I look at the carbs and I almost died. so I can only eat 1 a few times a week.
  14. Too skinny? Noooo in my head I sometimes think i still weight over 200 lbs. this is really hard to wrap my head around at times.
  15. You guys are all an inspiration to me! You guys make me laugh.
  16. Now you get to work on filling your closest with sexy cloths that you love.
  17. Welcome to the BIG LOSER'S rapid weight loss. It will slow down but for now enjoy the ride and the transformations to come.
  18. I am going to get a face lift. I've earned it.
  19. I hope the OP shares more about her journey to her regain. It will help many of us here. I have no judgements. This is a hard journey and we do fall back into old habits of responding to our impulsivity of eating foods that are not healthy for us. I am almost 2 years out and am working on head hunger. I do know that when I eat protein and cut out the carbs, my restrictions get tighter. So I eat mostly proteins and veggies. I avoid sugars bc I was diabetic.
  20. Sorry I didn't read all the posts. Congrats on a job well done!
  21. Do something to get your mind off it. You have made a life changing decision and I totally applaud you. Hang in there. Can't wait for you to join us on the Big Loser's Bench.
  22. Wow u have really worked that sleeve of yours. You look amazing and so healthy too ! Congrats on all the hard work you've done.
