  1. So what's a bodybug or HRM?
  2. Today I looked down at my arm that is resting on a pillow, and I seen this winkled area of my arm and am I thinking how gross it looks. After thinking about it, I'd rather see the skin than the excess fat! i will go the extra mile and get plastics if needed.
  3. CONGRATS! Welcome to the BIG LOSER'S BENCH! We've been waiting patiently for you! Now Let's Rock our Sleeves as a team! GO SLEEVER'S!
  4. I'd call your surgeon's office. They should have a doctor on call for emergencies. That's what they get paid for. Please keep us updated so we know how your doing.
  5. i need too do some blood work to test my iron for anemia. Just to be safe.
  6. It's only speculation at this point. This would be a good time to just speculation at this point. Hopefully you want have any of the implications after your healed. Hang in there and have a great day. Rock that sleeve!
  7. OMG! This is so me! I was giving my food to my DH because i didn't want to waste it. Then I started realizing that I wasn't doing him any favors either. He blood sugar is way up because he eats too much food. When I realized that I wasn't doing him any favors, I just started throwing my left overs out. Even at his parents house, where is father is way more stringent about throwing anything out. I just put my napkin over it and slip it into the trash. My husband was pretty ok with that. This is really a hard thing to change. But the food is better off in the thrash rather than my DH's stomach! This is life threatening actually. I did go on ebay and find some really cut little desert bowls and plates that I use for when I eat now. It helps me cut down on the food I put on my plate and I love them. It's very special and gives me a feeling of success.
  8. Hey, you are doing great. It would be very helpful if you keep everything you eat moist. the dryness will make it bulk up in your throat and it feels weird. This will past with time. I'm always hungry when in the grocery store and that's my head hunger. I'm learning to deal with it now. So it's much easier for me.
  9. April 4 is an excellent day for your surgery! That is my 6 month post op anniversary. I have had no complications and I love my sleeve! CONRATS to you!
  10. I have been loosing hair since 2 months post op and I'm getting a little concerned. My hair is getting really thin. I am 5.5 months post op today and my hair is still coming out. I have taken biotin 10,000mcg and silica for hair and nair regrowth. I have heard that the hair will grow back so I'm working really hard to be patient. But I do love my slimmer body! Love my sleeve!
  11. Forensikic you can do this. He's 18 years old and needs to get out and doing something meaningful for himself. This is frustrating for you as a parent and really hard to deal with. I admire your courage and strength. Hang in there and set those boundaries.
  12. Children can be a blessing and also a pain in the A--. Emotional eating is really a difficult thing to deal with. Especially during emotional times when we are stressed to our max. Take some deep cleansing breaths where your exhaling all your angst out with every cleansing breathe you take. Do this often, it works. Sending positive energy your way!
  13. This is awesome! You reached your 1st set goal of 135! Dancing in the rain! We will always need to watch what we eat because we can gain the weight back. I believe in eating a healthy diet for the rest of my life where I focus more on Protein first, 3 meals a day, no high carb, nutritionist food allowed, I will be able to maintain my weight. I love the way I look right now (with cloths on) and don't want to go up in sizes. This will work for me. This is forever.
  14. I still see myself in my fat body but just at a different size! Time to hit the exercise route to get rid of the bulk. LOL
  15. I like how you see your winter coat. Even though I'm really cold right now, I'm going to adopt your metaphor! By winter coat is gone! Keep Rockin your Sleeves!

  23. It's always harder to see ourselves in comparison to other people. I hope to be in your shoes trying to load up with carbs to maintain my weight. I too am fearful of eating too much because I'm not sure I'm ready to stop loosing weight. LOL
  24. @ 5.5 months post off, I struggle with getting 900 on most days. Let us know if it speeds your weight loss up. I'm so afraid of gaining weight if I eat that much. LOL ;)
