  4. Go in the store and try them on first. Don't buy anything without it having your approval first. You worked hard to get to this point. Make it worth it. Feel good in what you wear. Good luck!
  5. I was banded 5/10/2011 down 51lbs and stuck for the last 5wks. So I truely know where you are coming from. I keep looking for folks that were banded around the same time I was for advice.
  6. I had the same problem until someone told me to push Biotin and Vitamin b12, and my protein intake. It works! I actually took a Zumba class Thursday and made it happen! Try these things and if I can help in any way hit me up with a email.

I think now though I could use a little my weight has stayed the same for 5wks now. But I do know this is s slow process for some. Starting exercising more and measuring food portions and pushing protein and vitamins. We will see. Have a great week everyone!

  12. I'm 6 months post op and stuck as well. I've been the same weight for like a month. I am not much of a exerciser but I do try to do something at least light weights and some cardio 2xs a week if not at the gym at home. I am been very tried a lot lately. No energy at all.
  13. Good information I will try this sometime. I need to get on the right page in measuring my food.
  14. You are not in this alone. We all face these challenges in which we can overcome. Shopping for some items for Thanksgiving dinner today was very hard. I use to be the one cooking for days putting out trays and trays of food. This is for sure different. But the reward is to come.
  15. I'm new at the blogging. But I am 6mths post op. I am currently having the same issue right now. I am now trying to up my protein reading some post. Hope this helps

  19. Very nice great information. I had my surgery on 5/10/11. I feel I am at the stage of figuring out how to consume protein daily. It's a challenge right now but hope to get it all figured out soon. I am always a taker for any idea's. Thanks!
  20. It has its ups and downs but worth the effort. I have 3 kids two are teenagers. Needless to say they only want to eat the things I buy for my diet needs. Then when I get enough for them they don't want it and complain that they only have healthy stuff. My teenage daughter is one the biggest challenge. My sister doesn't help either making things I can not have at all. Then she tries to serve them to me insisting I try it. So I totally hear where you are coming from. We can do this though! Crystal
