Just got back from Sam's Club and than we went to Lunch. The person I went to lunch with had the gastric-bypass about 7 years ago. She did wonderful and lost about 90 pounds. She has since gained back about 70 of it. She is miserable. There are a few side affects from the surgery and she has to deal with them for the rest of her life. That and gaining back most of the weight has made her a very unpleaseant and unhappy person. I don't blame her either. Back when they were real big on doing this surgery they didn't have any support for their patients. That is what I like about my Doctor. I get to see him when I can, His staff is the best, he has a website and chatroom. Almost anything we need we can get from them. To bad the older by-pass surgery people didn't get all that support. It pains me to see her in all the physical and emotional pain. But she tells me it does her a world of good to spend time with me. We went to a salad bar place by her today and she was amazed at it. She said she didn't know it was there and she was surprized at all the good selection of healthy food. Little at a time I'm going to help her. Now if I can get her to start doing some walking and some other form of exercise which she is lacking. Bless her little heart. So, I had Oatmeal for breakfast. A salad and fruit for lunch and now we are on our way to do our shift at the hospital. I'll let you know what dinner was then. I have to fast the rest of the night. I have labs in the morning. Home from my morning shift and Wally-World. Just finished my oatmeal and getting ready to head back out. Busy day and week for me. TracyKS, Hoping that all went well last night. Keep us posted. I wish I knew what to say or do to make things better or easier for you. I hate that things aren't running smoothly, especially in your first year of marriage. I will keep you in my prayers. How was the first day at school? Jane, I put on the green blouse last night and went and showed hubby, I was surprised but he really really liked it. Shock. I guess I was thinking that because he always sees me in t-shirts, that he wouldn't care for that style. He really liked it. I'm so excited and can't wait for my first time to wear it out. I have a coupon for Macy's for 20% off, think I'll go look at what they have. See what you have started. I miss you and can't wait till all 3 of us get together. Everyone have a great day.

Jane here is the bracelet I got. It was really hard to photograph. I wore it to work and everyone loved it.

So, I pick up TracyKS and we drive to St. Louis and pick up Jane and anyone else that fly's into St. Louis. (Road Trip) From there we drive down to Tunica and meet up with Laura and Baby and everyone else that comes. ???????????????????????????????????????????????????

Good Morning. I've got a boat load of things to do today. Not to mention that I have to pull a double shift again. I'll be so glad when everyone is done with their vacations. Speaking of vacations, Hubby and I are going to Branson for 3 days at he end of the month. So looking forward to it. Jenn, good to hear from you. Sorry about your foot. That is so scary when you get those infections, they are hard to clear up on your feet. Take good care of yourself. Kat, thanks for the info you sent. I have the old list but I was thinking that Laura had changed her number when she got that new phone. I'll try the new list. Judy, Our plumber cost $1,800. But he had to do a lot of diggign and if you know anything about Missouri, you know that we are nothing but rock. They worked like dogs digging. So too us it was worht it. Hubby and I spend several hours a day picking up rocks and throwing them under the deck. We're trying to get as much cleaned up as we can so the landscapers don't have to do it. We are going to have professionals come in and do the landscaping bricks for us. To much hard work for our old backs. Let the young'uns do it. Pam, I thought of you all day yesterday and was wondering how your day went. Today is the first day of school here and we should be hearing the "Cheese Wagons" soon. Jane and Tracy. Sundays are always best for me but I also have Thursdays off. Saturdays are full but if that is best for you guys I can make it happen. Looking forward to a fun time.
