Almost 8 O'Clock, where my Secret Santa person????????

Up and showered, now I just need to get dressed and get to work. Not much going on today, it's supposed to get warm so I'll be in the pool for awhile and than it's off to work at the hospital. Everyone have a great day and I'll chat later.

My neighbor came over last week and she had a waffle bowl from DQ. She had called and offered to bring me one :w00t: I turned it down :cool2: Anyway she said you have to try this and she gave me a piece of the bowl that was dipped in chocolate. I'm amazed that I didn't jump up and knock everyone over to go get one. I restrained myself though. I was very good.

I get home and start to read all of your post and guess what???? You have finaly figured out what I have been saying for along time. You guys are the best. Not just there when things are going good but there when it feels like we can't get any lower than we are. When life gives me lemons I come here for my lemonade. Kat, I think I would call her back and just start out the conversation by saying how nice it was to have run into her. Ask her if she has seen other people from your class. Just keep it casual and see if she brings up the subject again. Than take it from there. Hopefully she is reaching out to you for your help and insight. What a nice place to be in. I'm sure you will handle it right. We were so busy at work tonight. I guess women getting their workouts in on M-W-F. I'm used to working on tuesday evenings. Boss called and wants to take me to lunch so I am meeting her tomorrow at Bob Evans. Wonder what she wants, I'm sure it's just to get to know me better. I hope. I'll let you guys know tomorrow night when I get home from work. Jane, on that counted cross stitch I gave you, can you let me know what the saying was. I want to post that at the bottom of my signature. I can't quite remember how it went. And also can you save that pattern for me. I think I want to sew it also. I think it's really nice and pretty. I had a very nice salad for lunch today and it has really held me over. When I got home I had some cottage cheese and pneapple and now I'm done for the day. Good thing tomorrow is CTCD. I'm needing it bad.

TracyK, your duaghters new name is "Mini-Me". OMG, you could be twins. Pulling a double shift today. The girl who works the night shift is having a coloscopy tomorrow and is doing her prep today. There was a seen where they went to the mental hospital and got introduced to a guy and his name was Ten-Second Tom, That's kinda what my sis is like, you tell her something and she will ask you again about it. Sometimes it's funny but it is really frustrating to her. I try very hard to not tell her she already asked. Ok, My day was just made. The new list of dancers was announced for "Dancing with the Stars". I love that show. Can Hector come and pick up my Sis and me and drive us to Bama??????? Up a little early this morning. Hubby and I have eye appointments at 8am. Pam, I'm so glad that Susanne is there to share this time with you. That you guy get the chance to lead a somewhat normal life. (school life is never normal, LOL) Can you have Susanne ship me some Goulash, I love that stuff. Michele, we are all getting older but it seems like the kids are just growing up faster than we would like them to. Kat, Good luck with the Hubby. A Big Thank You for all the e-mails. I don't think of my self as "Special" an "Angel" ETC. I'm just a person that has a job to do and I do it. I look at it as the path that God has sent me on and He's seeing how well I handle it. This is my Cross to bear. I do know one thing, I'm a better person for it. I have learned over the years to be a kinder more understanding person and I have found my peace with it. But Thank You so much for thinking of us and for keeping us in your prayers. Life goes on and I'm here for the ride. Laura, that is so sad. That poor family. Watching closing of Olympics. They have said for days now that if you thought the opening was impresive, wait till you see the closing. So far, snooorrrrrrre. Hope it improves.

I just watched a 2 minute recap of the olympic games and it made me cry. I love all of those people and their dedication. Now if I could just put that much dedication into losing weight.

Burnt to a crisp, my nose is so sore. You would think if you had a good tan that the sun couldn't burn you again. Well it can. Not sure if I'm going to do any pool time today. We'll see. Looks like I'm gonna tear my bedroom apart today and do a real good cleaning. Maybe even get rid of some clothes that no longer fit. I hate to part with them but it does make me feel better. Jane, last night Hubby and I went with the neighbors to go shot some pool and have a few drinks. I wore my new shirt and got all kinds of compliments. Thanks for helping me pick it out. Keeping you and your family in my prayers. Judy, So excited for you about getting the heater. I promise you will love it, it will be so worth it. Denise, What beautiful little boys. Kat, Congrats on making your goal weight. That has to be so exciting. Sorry your not feeling well, did you try sipping something warm? Maybe that will get some of the swelling down. Just got home from work and will wait a little while for the sun to pop out some more before I head to the pool. Up early this morning, have to go into work for 3 hours. We swam most of the day yesterday but waiting to see what the weater is going to be for today. Got lots of exercising in. I did most excellent on my eating yesterday. Today should be a good day also. Lots of fruit and I bought some red, yellow and orange peppers the other day. So we will most likely be using the outside grill tonight. Everyone have a great day.

Up and getting ready for work. I have another busy day ahead of me. Slept wonderful last night but didn't stay up late to watch Olympics. Have to workout extra hard today to make up for the movie popcorn yesterday. Need to change the CTCD from Thursday. That's my only day off. Everyone have a great day.

Haydee, I have watched that show and I would be ashamed if I saw myself acting like that. Those girls are horrible. I feel so sorry for the guys who are getting them.

Jane, I didn't get a text either-so we are in good company. Just got home from our shift. We were really busy tonight. 13 surgeries today. That's alot. They were still operating when we left. Kat, can I have your wood? I was thinking earlier today about calling the guy that cuts our wood for us and see if he could get us a load by October. We use our fireplace alot.At least 2 cords a winter. Jenn, have a blast tonight. TracyKS, glad to hear that it wasn't cancer but sad to hear about the RA. That's no fun. Don't they have bras that you stick in the microwave for a minute to heat up? Kind of a short day tomorrow. I have to take Sis to her Doc's appointment in the morning than to do her grocery shopping. She seems to be holding her own here for awhile. Hope that last.
