Jane, Glad to see you got home. Did you make it in time for the visitation? I'm really sorry for the loss. Got home from work and am dog tired. Gonna kick my feet up for a little bit and watch "DWTS".

Welcome back to Us, Haydee. You were missed. I met up with Jane today for lunch at Bob Evan's here in town. We had a great visit but to short. She had to get on the road so that she could stop at the Odessa Outlet Mall on the way home. Seems there is a shoe store there. HUH!!!!!! Anyway, she got a call last night that a good friend of hers died. I'm sorry if I get this wrong but him and his wife live in the same complex and they had noticed that he hadn't come home but didn't think anything of it. So the next day some kids in the neighborhood found his car with him inside. He had had a heart attack. I think she said that he was 54 years old and that he had been complaining of nit feeling good. She was pretty upset and wanted to get home to go to the visitation tonight. I'm sure she'll post when she get home. I'm off to work here pretty soon. I did good at my weigh-in this morning. I lost 2 lbs. Yippeee. Have a great evening.

Good Morning, or so I hope it will be. I have weigh-in this morning and after the Caniloni's Saturday night!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, we'll see. I sent out some e-mails yesterday and last night I checked my sponsor page and I had a donation. How cool. Somebody has faith in me. Besides my hubby. I think I'll try to put up a collection jar at work and see what I can get. Jane is leaving today. She said lasat night that she turns her computer on and the power turns off. She said sometimes she has enough time to check to see if there are any important e-mails. So she will check in when she gets home. Everyone have a great day.

TracyKS, Did you pass out today at your Mom's appointment? I'm hoping all went well. I'm going to look into some kind of hat or tiara's or something for our walk. How about boa's? What do you think Jonahtan would like to wear????

Just talked to Jane a little while ago and she went to Lawrence yesterday and today she went to the "Legends" in Tonganoxie. She's on the hunt for shoes. If all works out ok, I will meet up with her tomorrow for a little bit before she heads home. I'm gonna try and go see her sometime in the next few months. I enjoy her company alot. She's a sweetie.

Tell Haydee to season the ribs than take one onion and slice it thick. Lay those slices on the bottom of the cooker and put meat on top of them. Cook for about 4 hours and than pour BBQ suace over and cook for about another 3-4 hours. Yummy.

TracyK, sounds like my house. I no sooner get home and they all act like the world came to an end while I was gone and they didn't know how to stick their heads up their ass. I can cater to them 24 hours and than have one milli-second of my own and they are lost. Right now hubby is asleep in our room and sister is asleep downstairs. You'd think I was having it good. Well, it's really hard to type with a cat nipping at my elbow. Always someone wanting me. Good Grief. House is quite so I mopped the kitchen and dining room. I need to run the sweeper but will wait. Trying to get as much done as I can. Dancing with the Stars is on tonight and I'm watching it come hell or high water.

I actually stopped on the way home and bought a pair of jeans. Yes, me buying jeans. Now I have to take them back. I tried on wranglers and than I ended up grabbing a pair of Lee's. Got home and they are too long. It was a good try though. I got signed up for the walk and I think I'll put up a jar at work and collect donations. I'm looking forward to it. Tracy, I never did get around to asking you about your Mom the other night. Thanks for filling us in. Prayers to both of you. That extra shirt from the other night got put in the mail today. I hope the new girl likes it, I'll let her know soon that it is on it's way. I had one bite of Jane's brownies than cut the rest up and told hubby to hide his stash and gave the rest to my Sis. They were so good and I could have eaten the whole pan. I felt the best thing to do was out of sight- out of mind. :cry_smile: Great, now my tummy is growling. Kind of muggy here today so I turned the air-conditioner back on.

Up early for my morning shift. Yuck, hope she finds someone soon. I don't like getting up this early. Have a great day and I'll check in later.

Got the work done that I wanted to get done and now it's wind-down time. 4:30am comes awfully early. Janie called earlier and told me she still couldn't get on-line. She is having major computer issues. She said to tell you all "Hello" and that she is doing fine. She misses Tracy and I already. You're right, when we are not all here it just doesn't seem right. Good Morning Girls. Kat, Kat, Kat. We were so relieved to have heard from you last night. We knew you were doing good but to just hear from you was what we needed. I'm still keeping you in my prayers and hoping you recover very fast. Laura, What are we gonna do with you? It sucks that you are going thru this ordeal. You should still be on cloud nine and enjoying the changes you and your body will be going thru. Take good care of yourself. Everyone, I'm not sure about Tracy and Jane but I had a wonderful time last night. You don't need to worry, even though it was an all-you-can-eat italian restaurant, we didn't eat all that we could. It just looked like it. We sampled everything and enjoyed it. At one point I thought Jane was trying to pick up on our waiter, just my imagination or hopeful thinking. There were quite a few construction workers staying at the hotel????? I'm hoping that this is just the beginning of us getting together more often. I guess I need to start getting my butt up to Leavenworth more often. Maybe a couple of trips to St Louis would do me some good. I'll post the pics when I get my sis to download them. Speaking of pics, Pam those were great. Such a cute couple. Loks like everyone had a great time. P.S. Susanne looked really good, sunshine does her well. I'm gonna have a lazy day today. Althought there are a few laundry things I want to do. Thinking about washing pillows and hanging outside to dry. Other than that, just taking it easy. Everyone have a great day. Hugs

Judy, Judy, Judy,,,,,,,, I got in the pool today. I came home from work and I was sitting there staring at it and just couldn't help myself anymore. I went and put my bathing suit on and got in. It was a little cool-84 degrees, b ut felt wonderful. I had about 15 minutes before my nephew showed up and I had to get out so they could take the steps out. That was so much fun. Now I'm sitting here all showered and cleaned. Think I'll doze a little in the chair till it's time to head out. I'm so excited. Everyone have a great evening and I'll post pics later. Hugs.

Tonight it was gravy. Gravy on the meatloaf, gravy on the mashed potatoes, gravy on the biscuits, green beans, apple pie and vanilla ice cream. And it all was wonderful. Than we took doggie for a walk. Normally we have ketchup but with it being hubby's b-day I got the gravy. I like ketchup when I make meatloaf sandwiches. Yummy. Gina, Peyton is so cute, love those ears.

Today is Hubby's birthday. He wants meatloaf and mashed potatoes. I already have it made, I just need to put it in the oven. I'm so happy about Kat. Everyone have a great evening.

I was in the grocery store picking out soups when my cell phone beeped me with a message. That was wonderful news about Kat. I'm so happy for her and Rick. TracyinKS, what's going on? I know at the moment that the chocolate frosty seems like it will take care of everything but it win't so just put it down becaus e I guarantee you that after you eat it you will hate yourself for it. Get some gum or lifesavers. I can hardly wait till tomorow evening. I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to wear. I will be bringing my camera also. This is going to be so much fun. I have to work in the morning than we are going to close the pool. I'm so sad but the water temp is 68 degrees. Here's for an early warm spring. Pam, that sounds so lovely. Can't wait to see the pics. I miss the sounds and the smell of the ocean. I don't miss the sand in my food though. Have a great time. Tracy, Hope Macy gets to feeling better soon. Judy, Thanks for the phone call, several times while I was talking to you I thought I was talking to my Aunt. You sound alot like her and I could hear in your voice the kindness that she has in hers. Got home from our hospital shift. We were really busy tonight. We enjoy going so much but we are very tired by the time we get home. Didn't get to take doggie walking today so don't know if the Hawk was waiting for us. Kat, You have all my prayers going with you. I will be keeping you in my mind till I hear from one of the Vi's. TracyinKS, you have my cell #. I will be busy mowing grass at the church all day tomorrow, so just send me a text and I will get back with you as soon as I can. Is Robby coming Saturday? Hope so, I would like to meet him. Dr. Oz says there is no exercise pill. #@%& *&^% $%#@ Weather has been beautiful here but we are going to close the pool this weekend. I'm so sad, my tan is already fading. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for an early spring. So Saturday night we aren't pigging out???????? All right, I guess. No really, that's good. Got home from my evening shift and fixed me a salad. It was delicious. I have to work at 6am and than have an appointment to get a oil change and tire rotation. Than a few free hours and than our shift at the hospital. Went to my weigh in this morning and lost. Not much but it was a loss. I'll work a little better on it this week. I have been really good at exercising, it's just the snacking that I've done to much of. Today was so beautiful and after my running around this morning I came home and told ubby I was going to take doggie for a walk. He decided to join me and off we went. We ended up walking thru a new sub-division that they have put the roads in and the electrical. There are four new gorgeous homes there. Anyway we were just walking along and hubby told me to keep an eye on doggie, I was thinking that there was a stray dog hanging around and he said "no, look up". Sure enough, circleing overhead was a hawk. I reeled doggie in and had him about 5 feet in front of me. We watched the hawk and he just circled. Finally after about a minute he took off. He was either eye-balling doggie or he was telling us that we were in his territory and we need to leave. Not sure I will take that route again. So, is this one big orgy we are having. One big love-fest. My hubby knows that I talk to you everyday and he knows almost as much about you all as I do. I tell him alot. Anyway, he would never think that I would put you guys before him but he also knows that I need to do what I can to help ease my weight loss. You guys are instrumental in this journey I am taking. I trust all of you to guide me and to listen to my good times and my bad times. Thank you for being there when I need you. Jenn, I'm still motivated and execising like crazy. Kat, That's amazing. I never would have thought that that could happen. How weird. It does give you something to think about though. Afternoon Everyone. Hey HH. Good to hear from you. I've been busy as a dog today. Started work at 6 am. and than went to Sister's to help her with some Insurance stuff. Came home and started in mowing the grass, than put chemicals in the pool. I varnished a shelf that I had stained yesterday, took doggie for a small walk. came back and switched my summer flags to Autumn flags than went and swept the pool. And just a few other little things inbetween. Tracy, That's funny about packing the clothes. I probably would have done the same thing. Hope you have power when you get home. Kat, My Doc said that if you had a slipped band that you wouldn't even be able to swallow your spit. Keeping my fingers crossed all works out for you. We have had the most beautiful day here today. If no one got out to enjoy it I feel sorry for them. I know that with all that has gone on in the last few days with the hurricane that I don't have anything to complain about but we had 3 days of rain. Rain and more rain. Somewhere over 6 inches. So this morning when the Sun came out you should have seen my happy dance. I was ready to take off and walk forever. It's so pretty here. Everyone have a great evening.
