I drank one Margi and wore one home. LOL. The pic of me is awful but it's really good of the counted cross stitch. Did I mention that I sewed that on "Irish Linen"? I love, love love to sew. I thought that since you were instrumental in getting all of us started here, a bouquet of Violets were what you needed. Hubby and I had a great time at lunch and than we drove around town for a little bit. We waved to Mike Vick as we went by his "Home". Jane, Thank You so much for helping me pick out the outfit for Tracy. I enjoy spending time with you.

Tracy, Channel 5 is saying that the ice isn't suppose to start till around 3 pm. I'm gonna get in a take my shower and than talk to hubby about us coming. How are things your way? If all is ok than it's Appleby's at 11:30.

TracyKS, let me know when you get to work. Terri, Hope you're feeling better. Around here in my house, I do 100% of the housework. But that is my choice. It's my house and I chose it and I take care of it. I do all the inside work and Hubby does all of the outside work. But you know, there are sometimes that when I could use a little extra help and knowing that he is in there sitting on his but just puts a little erk in my butt. But then there is also times that I turn around and he's doing dishes. I love those moments. Jane, keep us posted on how you are doing. TracyK, you spend all that money yet??????? Hubby abd I went to work at the hospital and then we went to a Christmas party. The house that we went to belongs to a lady that works out at the 6am shift. OMG. You should have seen this home. Absolutely amazing and she had it decorated beyond belief. She was born on Christmas eve and so the holiday has a special meaning to her. We had a good time and really enjoyed ourselves. Headed to bed now and hoping that the weather will cooperate for tomorrow. I'm headed to have lunch with Tracy if the ice storm will hold off.

Busy Bee here today. Can't stay, I just need to tell TracyKS that I will call you by 10am and let you know if we are coming. I want to watch the weather reports and see how things are going. Hubby and I went and cleaned the steps and driveway and than I made the decision that I was not going to open the store today. So I called my boss and told her and she was really fine with it. The news is showing cars all over the place. Glad I stayed home. Jane, Hubby wants me to Thank You for the card you sent. He got a big kick out of the trivia. That was really sweet of you. And.......I made another batch of PB fudge. I'm making alot of this to take into the hospital tomorrow night and than my family is having our Christmas this Saturday. So after that. No more cookies and candy.

Hubby just unwrapped the choc kisses and PB cups and I made the cookies. We are putting the two together. Now if I can just keep from eating all of them. When we are done we are headed out to sweep the steps and shovel the drive. Still not sure if I have to go into work yet. I called and no one answered the phone so in a little bit I will call my boss at home and see. Haydee, I just about had a back up in the throat when I read you post. OMG. I'm not even sure I would try that. I love fudge and velveeta, just not sure about together.

Sitting here watching it snow. It's so pretty but that is because right now I don't have to get out in it. I'll have to keep an eye on it though. I'm scheduled to work the late shift today. We'll see. On to my second cup of hot chocolate. I ran out of marshmallows though. Abby was over yesterday for a couple of hours and we sat and roasted them in front of the fire. Tracking a winter storm headed this way. Hope the weather people are just blowing smoke again. I swear I wish I had their job. Sister actually made dinner tonight. She baked a chicken, mashed potatoes, stuffing and peas. Yummy. Have a great evening.

I went in to work this morning and for a 3 1/2 hour shift I had 6 people and one of those was me. Oh well. Anyway while I was there I turned the radio on and they were telling that the tickets for the "Eagles" were going on sale at 10. So off I went and ended up getting 2 tickets. Can I even exlpain how excited I am- NO WAY. So I came home and told hubby that I had taken care of both of our Christams presents and did he want his now or wait till Christmas day. He chose to wait. So I'm done with my shopping. Now I just have to wait till March 28th. Watchiing the news and they are calling for more snow tonight and some more tomorrow evening. Yikes. Have a good one.

Good Morning Girls. Well it's 3 degrees and so far they haven't closed the schools. So that means I have to go in and put on about 4 layers of clothes and get my butt to work. That's ok, I need to get out of the house anyway. Geting cabin fever. Everyone have a great day.

Oh, and by the way, I sat next to Tracy at the support group meeting Saturday. I also got to see Robbie. He was so cute and very well behaved. And one more thing incase I didn't mention it, it's very Cold here. I mean very cold. Not Palm Springs cold but more like Alpena cold. 12 degrees and a wind chill of 1 degree.

Good Morning. The weather is really nice here right now but a storm is headed this way this afternoon. Tomorrows high is only supposed to be 18 degrees. A friend of mine has a husband that is serving time down in the downtown jail for 90 days, so today her and I are going with his parents and a few other friends and stand out in the parking lot across the street to wave to him. We were hoping that with good behavior he would be home for Christmas and he still might be. We just wanted him to know that we care about him and think about him. He will be able to see us, so that will be neat. Our Christams staff party was really nice yesterday. Our boss gave us some Mary Kay bath supplies. I ended up ordering the Tortilla Soup. I love that stuff. I made a batch of my oatmeal choco chip cookies last night. The family got all excited. Boy they are delicious. Tracy, Love the pics. Macy is such a cute and can wear anything. Kat, sorry about Kinsey's face. hope she heals ok and that her heart will heal as also. Make sure you send a pic of her in the dress for us. I'll check in later tonight after I get back.

Long day for me today. A support group meeting for 2 hours and than off to lunch with the girls I work with. Our boss takes out every year. Weather is getting ready to turn bad here again. It's really windy right now and supposed to get in the 60's but by Monday the high will only be in the teens. Guess I'll pull a roast out and cook it tomorrow in the crock pot. Have a great day.

Oh Jane, I wish there was someway that I can take all of your problems away from you. I just can't believe all that they have put you thru here lately. I say- enough is enough. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's not an abcess and that a few antibiotics will clear it all up. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Another rough day with the eating. Not horrible, just rough. I'm scanning pics and going thru things to make for my web page. I finally sent my camera in and I got a letter in the mail today. $130.00 to get it fixed. So hubby said wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a new one?? Trying to figure out what to do. I really like my camera and my computer is all set up for it but a new one would have all the latest features on it. What to do?????? Any ideas?????

Good Morning Folks. I was up early and got all my housework done.......Yep. Now just waiting to go into work. I was going thru old photo albums taking out pics to scan. I ran across some from our trip to Canada a few years ago and I was shocked. OMG. I was really that big. It amazes me that my family stay with me thru all of that. I would have left myself years ago. I'm even to embarassed to scan them for my before pics. TracyKS, Keep posting how you are doing on your daily intake. Believe it or not but that really helps me out alot. I'm even more inspired with your Mom now being banded. TracyK, I was quiet last night because I forgot to plug my laptop in and charge it. :wink2: Everyone have a great day. Make good choices.

Hey all. We had our snow storm yesterday and I went into work. After 3 hours I had only 2 customers so I closed up and went home. I got up this morning at 4:30am and turned the news on and saw that the schools were closed for the day. Since schools are closed, we don't open till 9am. So I watched Trading Spaces till 6am and than went back to bed. Got up about 9:30, took my shower and started laundry. Did housework, mopped the kitchen floor and a bunch of other stuff. Now just waiting till it's time for ur shift at the hospital. We ended up getting only about an inch of snow but that's enough to cause everyone to drive stupid. The news was showing people stuck everywhere. Haydee. I still have not decorated yet. I'm thinking tomorrow might be a good day for it. I'll have hubby bring everything in and when I get home from taking my sis to her Doc appointment, than I'll put everything up. Next weekend my Grandniece is coming over and we are doing cookies. Judy and Pam. I love the cards that I got. Both of you have such good looking families. Someday Hubby and I will need to get our pic taken together. It might be more of a Halloween card than a Christmas card. LOL.

Good Morning Snow is on it's way here. Right now the winds are howling and it's 32 degrees. Snow is supposed to start around noon and I have to go into work at 3pm. Lucky Me. Denise, so sorry to hear about your duaghter. Hopefully this will let her know that she needs to turn things around. One of the reasons I had to pick doggie up is because weather it was a pitt bull or a poodle, doggie thinks he at those moment is a 90 pound german shepard. He will take on anything, he goes into that protective mode. He doesn't want anyone or anything coming near his property. It cracks me up to see sucha little thing act like he is huge. Not much else going on today, Just need to keep a eye on the weather. Have a great day.
