Kat, that is so sweet of you to do that for your FIL. I know I used to do Hubby's right after we were married. I taught him how to soak his feet in order to cut the nail. He was dry cutting them, ouch. So he does his own now. I have never tried to do anyone elses. Sometimes the thought does roll my tummy. Home from our work at the hospital. We had such a good time. Dinner wasn't all that I wanted it to be. I was so hoping that they would have chili there. The pot was almost bare. So I settled for a salad and grapes. Now I'm in my chair with my jammies on and going to watch Idol. Night.

Michelle, my latest job fell in my lap. I was at Curves working out when the owner asked if I would be interested in a PT job. Ok. So I put in 10-12 hours a week. I love it. I get to work out, work for a few hours, meet new people and talk all I want and get paid for it. Dream job. Good luck. Ok, I'm done with Doctors for a month at least. Latest news- They have found another cyst. This one is on my pericardigm (sp?). So the Doc today ordered an echocardiogram. I had one done about 20 years ago. She wants to see where it is at and if it might be putting any pressure on the heart. She did read the MRI on the spine and told me that the cyst on spine will have to be removed. I told her that I have an appointment with the Ortho Doc and the Spine Specialist next week. Sis just asked me if I have had my Mammogram done yet. I gave her that look. No more pictures, they keep finding things. So now I'm home and resting for awhile. We will be doing our shift at the hospital tonight and that's ok. It's raining and they are calling for it to rain almost all night. So if I was home I would just be sitting here on my sore butt and worrying. I for on am glad that Ochocinco went home. But I don't know who I want more to win. Evan or the girl with the dark hair. She is soooooo good. Make it a good one.

Kat, I just love how you and your friend Marie get to spend some time together. That's so neat. Also I will keep you in-laws in my prayers. I know how you feel about the family. Mine also thinks I should be at their beck and call. I went thru a little of it with my sister today. She thinks I sit here at the house doing nothing but waiting for her to call so I can jump in my car and go cater to her. Drives me crazy. Hubby and I just spent a really nice evening sitting out on the deck with the kitties listening to the Royals ball game. I put some hot dogs on the grill. He gets the bun-length regular dogs and I get the turkey dogs. I have eaten them for years and now find I can't do regular dogs anymore. Funny thing. Gonna finish up watching DWTS and then head to bed. I have to work in the morning. We have a girl on vacation and I'm filling in for her. Then I have a docs appointment. My 6 month kidney check up. Night everyone.

Hey. Guess what??????????? The Pool is Open. We got the cover off and am now adding more water to it. That will be all for the day. We will wait till this weekend to hook the hoses up and get it fully functioning. Hopefully monday or tuesday we can start the heater and have it ready by Memorial Day weekend. Summers almost here. I woke up this morning starving. That was at 4:30am. I fought it off till 9:30 and I stopped on my way over to get my sis at Sonic and got a breakfast burrito. I only ate half of it and threw the rest away. Yes, I said I threw the rest away. I'm so proud of myself. That held me off for about 4 1/2 hours. I thought that was excellent. I was really worried that I was going to regret having any fluid taken out. So far I'm ok with it. Hope you are all having a good day. Welcome back Tracy and I'm with you, where the heck is Jenn????

Cindy, you are too funny. Actually he has been there for awhile. I just have never found the proper time to use him. lol. Kat, so glad to hear that you and Rick had a good time. Drama is something that I tried not to have around here but it always has a way of creeping in. Home from the Docs and work. Things didn't go well at the Docs office. Well, not all of it was bad. From the last time I had seen him I did lose 10.6 pounds, so that was good. Nikki did tell me that she is fighting the Insurance co. Seems they are giving her all kinds of run around. They want a referral. They want documentation, etc. etc. The Doc said that they suggested that he empty my band. He told them that was not an option. The hernia will not repair itself and needs to be operated on. The fluid being taken out will only relieve the reflux and not fix it. Beside they would be defeating the purpose of the band then. He said that they will keep at them and get it taken care of but that it will take a little longer. So he asked me if I would like to have some fluid taken out. HELL NO, I said(not really). I told him that I didn't want to do that and he reassured me that he was not going to empty my band, that he just wanted to take out .5cc's, 1 at the most. He said it would be enough to help relieve the reflux but not enough to make me gain weight again. He said I probably wouldn't notice it. So I agreed to have it done. I wasn't a happy perosn when I left. We left there and went to go get some lunch and boy did I find out that I can't eat anymore than I did before. So that's a good thing. So now it's head to bed time. Gotta work in the morning then take older sis grocery shopping. She's still planning on moving into the apartment next o her in the next week or so. Looks like it will be a good move for her. Tracy in Tahiti???? I can picture that. Looks good.

Oh Bethany, I hope your day gets better for you. My mojo will be back when the sun comes out. I seem to want to do so much more when it's sunny and warm, that's why this 3 days of rain is getting me down. I went to WW this morning and am down a few more pounds. Now I wonder how many I will be down when I go to the Docs here soon. I'm hoping for a fill but by my calculations I'm down 8 pounds since my last visit. Not sure he will give me one. I'll talk to him about it. Forgot I have to fill in for a girl at work this evening. Her daughter has something to do at school and she wanted to know if I could come in and close for her. Hope Tracy is lucky on her trip.

Morning Girls. I have a long day today so I will check in when I can. My appointment with my Band Doc will be later this afternoon. Depending on wether I get a fill or not we might stop on the way home and get some dinner. As long as hubby is with me I'll try to get him to go out to eat, lol. So I'll post when I get home on wat Doc had to say. Rain has stopped and they say we might see some sun this evening. Good thing. We need about 3 days of sunshine to dry everything out. Have a great day and make it a good one.

Morning. Guess what? It's raining and they are calling for rain all day into tomorrow morning. That will give me a chance to get some more sewing done. I did alot last night while going thru movies that I have recorded. Tomorrow is my appointment with my band Doc. Looking forward to it. I need to get this surgery scheduled. I have had a few more episodses of aspiration. Truly scary but am glad that I wake up in time. Kat, a ride sounds lovely. I hope you guys enjoy your day. You and Rick need a little break from the family drama. Tracy, I think in my spare time I will go see if I can get that book at the library or at least put my name on the list for it. Enjoy your little outing also. Too bad about the kitty. I would take him but I have 3 to many right now. 2 are actually brother and sister and Molly we got when we went to Arkansas for a visit. Sure wish I could get outside today. Dang rain. Well back to my housework and then sewing. Make it a good one.

Hey. Sitting here trying to get that damp chilly feeling out of my bones. It has rained all day and it's only in the mid 50's. I had to go dig out a winter long sleeve shirt to wear. Brrrrr. Tracy and Angela, how cool that you guys might be able to meet up to go walking together. I love to walk and mainly do it by myself, well plus doggie. I normally don't like for people to walk with me because they always walk faster than me and I get worn out to fast. But if I had someone that stayed with me I would love it. Good luck with you guys getting together. I have tried crocheting and knitting but like I said, if I would just stick with it and keep practicing till I got better than I would do it alot more. I also don't have the patience. Rain tonight and 70% chance of rain tomorrow. But the next 3 days after that we have all sunshine and warmth. Looks like we will be able to get the pool cover off. Yea.... Now it's movie time. Night all.

Good morning girls. Slept wonderful last night and now I'm up and going to get ready to go to work. Not much else going on since it will be raining most of the day. Looks like I will be doing a lot of sewing. Tracy, I am so hoping that you find inspiration in the book that you are reading. You know that the road is a hard one but also that you have the ability to do it again. Keep your head held high and have faith in yourself. Make it a good one.

Thanks for all the prayers. I had a long talk with God again last night and told him that once again I was putting it in his hands. I was going to let him decide what was going to happen and that I would accept his wish but that I couldn't deal with worrying about it. I have too much going on in my life to have to worry about my health. He gets full control again. He hasn't let me down yet. I'll be going to bed early tonight to see if I can get caught up on my sleep. Tomorrow is a busy day for me. I have to work in the morning and work at church in the afternoon. In between them I have a little running around to do.

Michelle, I do counted cross stitch on linen and I love it. Right now I have a wedding picture that I am doing for the wedding we are going to in Sept. I'm just mad at myself that I didn't get started when I bought it several months ago. So now I'm on crunch time. It will probably have at least 100 hours in it by the time I'm done and I will still need to get it framed. My Aunt made one for my hubby and I almost 28 years ago and it's been hanging in my living room ever since. But I really wish I could either crochet or knit. That's what I would really like to do. I've attempted several times. I guess if I would really put some time into it I might get the hang of it. We are getting ready to start the grill and cook some burgers. I also have some corn on the cob I will fix to go along with it. It turned out to be a lovely day here but they are calling for rain the next few days. I'm never going to get my pool opened.:w00t:

I'm Back. Sorry about that. They called about an hour ago and said my lap-top was ready. When I got there I asked her if they new what file the worm had attached itself too. She said it was in over 100 files. She said it really inbedded itself. Pretty tough cookie to crack but they got it done. So she gave me a website of some Malware to download and said that that should take care of it ever happening again. I went thru withdrawls while my computer was gone. I sure did get a lot of housework done though. So I need to welcome 2 new people. So glad that you guys finally joined us. I'm almost positive you will be happy here and satisfied. Anyone else want to join???? I was banded in October of 06. To date I have lost 197 pounds. Occasionaly I have gained back a few pounds but for the most part it has been a losing trip for me. I still have along ways to go and will eventually make it. But if I never lost another pound I would be happy with were I am at. It is a daily struggle with me and wanting to eat what I shouldn't. It is weird how tha bad food goes down but easily but the foods I should be eating will get stuck. Life is strange. Kat, so sad to hear about your MIL. I will be keeping her in my prayers. I will also say a prayer for the rest of the family for all that you guys will be going thru. Tracy, I have never heard of the book but do let us know if you find any good insight. We can always use a boost. Michelle, I'm a winter person also. Actually Fall is my favorite but I love a good snow. Right now we are getting a lot of rain which is making me mad. We are trying to get the pool opened and it's hard to do with all the rain. I can't wait to see the Grad pics. We've already gotten 4 grad notices. I need to get to the store for some cards. So last week I went and had the MRI done. Well, yesterday they called from my regular Doc's office and said that I needed to go see a Neurosurgeon as soon as I can. So I called the Doc's office that ordered the test and girl that answered the phone said that I would have to call another docs office, that they couldn't help me. I told her I needed to see the orthopedic doc so he could tell me exactly what was in the MRI. She put me on hold and the next thing I know the Doc's right hand nurse was on the phone telling me that I was not to get scared or nervous but the MRI showed that I had a cyst pressing on my spine at the L4-L5 area of my lower spine. That is what is causing all the pain. She said that I needed to get into see the Doc and that she would make the appointment for Thursday because the spine specialist is in the office on that day also. She said she was going to tag team me with both Docs. So I go on the 27th. to see them. That was the earliest she could get me in, she said in the mean time that I am not to worry about anything and to keep myself calm. If I felt like I needed to see the Doc before then that I should call her and she would try real hard to get me in. I'm thinking about calling and getting a prescript of Vicodin or a bottle of tequila. lol. So last night was not a good sleeping night for me. I tossed alot and slept about 40 minutes at a time till the alarm went off. My first question that ran thru my head was- can this cyst burst and do some damage before I get in? And where the heck are these cyst coming from? That makes 2 in my right lung and now one on my spine. Not sure I want to go have a mammogram done. Once again, Welcome to Angela and CWTBT. Hi Shalee, I'm so glad you checked in with us. We miss seeing you here. I'll check in soon.

I'm in on the NO sugar thing. We can do this. Home from the gym and I did exactly what the Doc told me not to do. Actually he didn't want me on the treadmill but said if I didn't elevate it that would be ok. So I walked for 1/2 mile on a flat treadmill. But than I got on the bike and before I knew it I had rode 2 miles. That's a first for me. I'm feeling pretty good, less impact on my joints. Now it's shower time and than out the door. Busy day ahead of me. Has anyone heard from Suzy in awhile? I hope they are all doing good and getting along. Make it a good one guys.

Snow?????? Yikes. We're gonna start getting the pool ready this weekend. Don't need no snow here. Kat, wouldn't it be nice if we could all be like Marie? I strive to be a person like that also. Michelle, that is so funny about the yarn and your son. I've seen boys wearing all different kinds of colors. It must be a sign of the times. They don't worry about it. If I'm not on here for a day or 2 I need to take my computer in to have this Trojan removed. My BIL and I have worked on it all day. It has attached it's self to something and we are not able to find it, no matter what program we try or anything we do. So I think it's best just to let the big guys handle this one. They don't charge much for virus removals. I'll let you guys know when I hear from either Docs. Still haven't heard from the Band Doc on when my surgery will be. I have an appointment with him next monday so maybe we can get it settled then. Now we need to figure out what is wrong with the hip and knee. Boy, I hate getting old. LOL.

Now I know how people can feel claustrophobic when they get an MRI. Holy cow that is tight. Right in your face. I just kept repeating to myself, "keep your eyes closed". I survived the 20 minutes that it took but I was hurting pretty bad by the time I was done. My hip and knee hated that. But it is done and they said the Doc should have everything by tomorrow morning. I'm hoping they find something and that it isn't all in my mind. Came home and hubby had already mowed the yard. He's so sweet. It needed to be done, they are calling for rain the next 3 days. Hope everyone is having a great day.

Tracy, You find that MoJo yet?? Hope so. Home for about 30 minutes and then headed back out for a little while. Doc wants a MRI on my right hip to see what is causing all the pain. Then when I get home it's mowing time. Got to get it done while it is not raining. It's supposed to start raining again in the morning. It is cold here. A little better than yesterday but still cool. Make it a good one.

I tried to get on theis morning and something that I opened yesterday has thrown a trojan into my computer. It took forever to get logged on and I was fianlly able to run my scan and get rid of it that way. However I'm sure the next time I start my computer it will happen again. I need to find what file it is on and get rid of it that way. Ughhh. Really surprised that I was able to get up and out of bed this morning. I even worked out. But now I'm home and am sure the stiffness will set in soo. It's cold and dreary here today so that won't help any. Tracy. I had a bad week last week with the eating. I hate when I do that to myself. Next Monday I have an appointment with my band Doc so the rest of this week I am on my best behavior. My last job I had I loved my work. They hired me without even seeing me first. I never got any grief from the people in the main office that hired me. It was more with the peple that I worked with. Most were very kind about my weight but there were a few that were awful. They fianlly saw the struggle I had with it an were a little better after that. But I know what you mean about them saying they are not predjudice but really deep down inside they are. Kat. Maybe if we all call this person out that they will either leave or join us. I have made several attempt to get this person to correspond with me. Nothing. Don't like the stalking business. Looks like I'm gonna grab a blanket and curl up for a little while. See ya all later.
