  2.    kmae76 reacted to a post in a topic: How Long Did You Fill Take To 'kick In.'
  3. I'm really not. He's a good doctor but quite dismissive and has a one size fits all approach to medicine.
  4. I had my fill 5 days ago and I am not restricted enough for my liking. I was told by the doctor that it can take up to 4 week for the fill to "kick in'. I find that hard to believe. In any case he reduces to fill until 6 weeks out. Has anyone started to fill restriction a month after a fill?
  5. I had my first fill on 1/12/12. I don't really feel restriction but that's fine for now as long as I feel that i have control over my eating. Since that time I have stuck to a 1000 calorie diet of CLEAN eating. No cheating. 70 Proteins 20 grams of fat per day (no saturated) . 13 grams of sugar. I measure everything exactly and track every single meal. I have been going to the gym daily doing 1 hr of zumba as well. I am gaining!!! No just plateauing. Gaining. I just don't understand. It feels demotivating. Ccan someone help?
  6. This is awesome. I love those plates.
  7. I went for my first fill today and my port had turned. The doctor flipped it right there under the floro. It hurt so bad and I broke down crying on the table. The doc said that it should be fine. I knew something was wrong b/c I have been having the same pulling pain under my port since surgery and that was 5 weeks ago. I was planning on joining the gym tomorrow but I think I'll give it some time to heal. If he could just flip it like that, what will vigorous excercise do. I'm scared.
  8. I have tried GNC Why Isolate and all the
  9. Thank you so much. I am 4 weeks in and stuck @ 17 lbs lost. When U hear this my first instinct is ti set sad because I'm no anywhere near on pace for that kind of loss. I had to re-read this post and let it sink in. Now i feel inspired. Thank you
  10. That's a good idea. Going to look into this for now.
  11. I'm only 20 days in but I know you can do it. You have demonstrated that already. Just time to reboot and renew. Good luck
  12. Hi I was banded 20 days ago and I am still having lover abdominal plain every time I move. My band is really low ( damn near where my ovaries are.) on my lower left side I still cannot sleep on my stomach and I am still having trouble sitting. Has anyone else had this pain ) for this long?
  13. are you still in the hospital, if so let them know if you are home, take the meds they have given you I had a hard time breathing for the first few days. Did the they give you the breathing "toy". Use that to expand your lungs believe me, it helps. If you are lying down try to walk a little bit and then sit in a chair for a while with some pillows behind you.
