I am a mother of 2 girls ages 13 & 15, a wife of 15 years though come December 2011 we will be together for 18 years. DH is active duty Navy 20 years. We just moved to Florida and purchased a house after a 7 year tour in Japan. I have been thinking of WLS for the past 3 years and finally now that I am stateside I have begun the process.

8/9 - I have my IUD removed and ask for a Consult/Referral for WLS

9/9- I have my Consult appointment where the Dr says I am a Candidate

9/13- I am in contact with the Nurse who sets up my next appointment and gives me details of upcoming things

9/14 - I attend my first WLS Support Group Meeting

9/14 - I enroll in the Ship Shape program for October

9/15- will be fasting for bloodwork on 9/16

9/27- next appointment
