  2. Happy 29th Birthday P.chan!

  3. I got banded since september 25th 2011. My starting weight was 78kg. I went down to 67 but now im back up to 70. I feel i can eat almost anything. My band is 12cc. And its filled up to 11cc. I made a mistake of drinking coke to get the food down when i went on vacation. I didnt want anyone to know. Now im getting engaged in one month and not sure how much i can loose till then. My hair is falling too...just feeling bit depressed. I love my band but why is it takinh so long for me to loose weight...
  4. Hi, Is the lapband filled with water or what solution?
  5. Hi Everyone, Today I was doing yoga with my students at work and I had a pain in my left side of my stomach every time I stretch. I had the same pain when I was trying yoga on Wednesday with them. I'm 3 weeks post surgery. is it too early to be stretching my stuff? Is that supposed to happen?

    Feeling Sad...

Hey everyone, I can't thank you enough for sharing your experiences. I know now, that I am not the only one going through this. This whole experience is really life changing...slowly!!
  7. hey everyone, I'm having a hard time to finish eating within the 20-30 minutes limit...first of all...my food is so little...really how do you manage to eat more than 20 mins? Also what are you guys usually eating for lunch and dinner? Any good ideas for me?
  8. Hi, I had my surgery done 2 weeks ago and now I just want to have a doctor in case of emergencies here in Tokyo. Does anyone have any referrals?

    Feeling Sad...

Thanks everyone for being so supportive. HUGS! I guess it's just that I felt it would come off easy and quickly...but it's taking forever. I am trying to count calories. I'm just not gonna step on the scale for a few days. The scale is freaking me out!
  10. Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew a lap band Dr. in Tokyo? I did my surgery in Korea, but I just wanted to have someone here in case of an emergency.

    Feeling Sad...

Hi, thank you for your message and support. I guess today, I was taking out my winter clothes and my favorite jacket was tight. I felt to just cry and cry because I have no idea how Iet my weight get so out of control. I feel the person looking at me in the mirror isn't the person I am. I just hope I can get better and see the weight come off. I really do..
  12. Thanks for your support everyone. It is so hard to just quit overnight. But the important thing is we try to cut back. I smoke about 2-3 cigs a day ( maybe more if I am frustrated)...sometimes I didn't smoke any. After the surgery I didn't smoke for about 6 days. But, let's all really try to cut back by one, if you're smoking over 5. Slowly but surely we can do it!
  13. Hi Everyone, Well tomorrow will by my 12th day with the band and I am feeling sad. I only went down 2 KG. Now i weigh 77KG. I feel for the past 2 weeks, I've barely had a decent meal and still not achieved any big change in my weight. Many people talk about how they lost so much weight in their first and second week. But, I just sometimes wonder, when is my turn :-( I know I will loose the weight in time..but maybe I'm just getting carried away. I know it isn't a magic band. I just really wish I can see a 60 something number when I step on the scale. I can only tell myself, that maybe my period is coming soon...so perhaps I am bloated? ..really? sighh :-(
  14. Hi, I had my surgery on September 25th. How long did you waited to get a first fill? What was it like? How much cc's did you increase by? What did it feel like? Is there really a change in your eating habit?
  15. Hi, I've been a light smoker for a few years now about 3-5 cigs in a day...I had my surgery about 10 days ago. For the first 6 days i didnt smoke. But, it's really hard. I've been taking a few puffs and then putting it out. How are you coping if you are a smoker? I wish I can quit cold turkey...but it is so hard but think about food, being hungry, not being able to eat...and not being able to smoke...
