Its Hard And Discouraging

Recommended Posts

I got banded since september 25th 2011. My starting weight was 78kg.

I went down to 67 but now im back up to 70. I feel i can eat almost anything. My band is 12cc. And its filled up to 11cc.

I made a mistake of drinking coke to get the food down when i went on vacation. I didnt want anyone to know.

Now im getting engaged in one month and not sure how much i can loose till then. My hair is falling too...just feeling bit depressed. I love my band but why is it takinh so long for me to loose weight...

Sounds like you are doing okay as you really don't have that much too lose! Keep following the rules and exercise, you'll be fine.

Maybe you should see a nutritionist? Something I've been told to stop doing is drinking with meals (but it's hard for me to quit). Also sometimes when I hit a plateau with my weight, I'm sometimes told I may need another fill in my band. But it sounds like yours is about as full it can get. What are you eating? Exercise always helps, too. Hope your weight starts going back down.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
