Your posts are so informative! Thank you! I have a question though--in one post you said you stayed under 30g of carbs while in the losing phase--did you keep it very low fat as well or did you eat things like bacon and ground beef?

When you get the surgery, you should definitely try the Nectar Whey Lemonade protein shake. It tastes good by itself, or you can sprinkle a Crystal light flavor on it (I'm able to do all sorts of flavors this way). It looks pricey, but each container has 36 servings. I really don't like the milky protein shakes

Hey! How's it going? Best of wishes to you during your approval process. I wish I could offer help in that area but I was self pay. So far, I'm 10 days post op and I'm doing great! I've found a couple protein shakes that I can really work with and that's a relief! I'm so glad I made this decision and I hope you get your approval soon! Oh, and thanks for the compliment!

It's 5pm and I still need to consume another 52 oz of fluids
I'm trying my best but the moment I take a sip, my chest is full of gas and I feel very full and uncomfortable. If this keeps up, I'm going to be a skeleton in 30 days! -
Despite all my worries, my sleeve operation went quite smoothly. My labs were great, high red hemoglobin, low cholesterol, lowered blood pressure to 117/97!

SMH. My sister is driving my blood pressure through the roof. Our driver is literally driving over 100mph, and my sister refuses to put on her seat belt.
