HI Kathy. I am hoping you got the approval. I am now on my 5th month with carewise. They keep telling me everything is good. They told me that my next phone call is next month and they will tell me what i need for after surgery. I am also wondring how fast it will be approved as I am really hoping that i can have my surgery last of april first of may.

HI i also have BCBS-IL. When i went to my surgeon i was told i had to do 6 mos of carewise though my work cause they required that. It has been over the phone with a Dietician and a Nurse. I am on my 5th month of that. I also had to sumit letters from my family MD and Surgeon to this Carewise. I am really hoping that when I am done with that next month I can get a fast approval. I have my heart set on a late April early May banding.

HI I dont really have an answer for this as I am also waiting for april to have my banding. I have my last phone call first of March with my dietician and Nurse for my 6 mos required by my insurance. But I am looking for ppl who are also sharing this experience. I to would love to get an idea of how fast the weight will come off.
