Yes, I started it 2 weeks post op. It's a program to get you running a half hour straight, or a 5 K depending on how fast you run, without stopping. It starts with running intervals as short as one minute at a time, with walking in between. Every week the running intervals get longer and the walking intervals get shorter until eventually you're just running. I loved it, it got me started running and I ran a half marathon last month. Google it and check it out

Naturalizer carrys a wider calf version of alot of their styles. You can get them at some of the Macy's, DSW, Famous Footwear. If you cannot find the style you like in the store then check out online and then take back to a physical store location.
Also, something to think of is that most people I know wear a larger boot size than a shoe size. The calf will also widen slightly! You generally wear them with trouser socks or something of that nature. Also, Torrid, Avenue those stores sometimes have a shoe department in them and carry boots.
Make sure to check out what they are made of though, as for me I have some of the man made ones but prefer leather boots since they breath better and fit better as they warm up to you.
You could also have boots made, I know it is costly but they can be made to your proper size and will last!

Well...... hmmm, a "fluffy fanny" would be something quite different here, wouldnt it? Something more along the lines of someone who hadnt kept up with the landscaping?
Looking at the time, should you have been working when you came up with this little gem, lol? I'm on LBT whilst my grade is doing a boring comprehension worksheet! Its one of those afternoons, I'm too ratty (reports were due today), they're too ratty, its nearly the end of term, snoooooooore.

I would like to know who is the ONE person in the world who can actually wear boots, lol?
At 5ft 10 and a size 8 I can easily zip boots up and over my jeans and wear them that way.
But boots with leggings or boots with a skirt/dress? No way. My skinny stick legs look ridiculous. those same legs that look amazing in a short skirt and high heels (yeah, the life of a 44 year old mother teacher calls for that sort of attire every day, not) look stupid in boots. I look like I've but my galoshes on and am going out to work on the farm. I dont think I have skinny calves. They look normal to me. But boots are all huuuuuuge.
I did find one pair - a stretch pair, that hug my calves.
There's probably as many of us out tehre that suffer with the gumboots syndrome as those of you frustrated by having shapely calves that are too big for boots.
Never mind, its all ankle boots this season!

I second the nectar protein..the brand is Syntrax. I didn't *love* the Roadside Lemonade but it was okay. strawberry kiwi was better, and now I drink vanilla Bean Tort every morning...mixed with a glass of skim milk it is 32 gms of Protein and 190 calories...and tastes alot like Carnation instant Breakfast vanilla. Not bad! It can be trial and error to find out what you like, so whenever possible buy sample packets before you commit to a huge expensive jug.

I drink a Protein Drink for breakfast every morning because I simply would not get enough Protein otherwise. I don't eat much meat or other high protein foods so if I get a shake in each morning I don't have to worry about it too much the rest of the day.

Yesterday was just a band loving kind of day for me. My son and I went to Worlds of Fun, and amusement park in Kansas City that is about 3 hours from us. First of all, since eating in the car is not a great idea, I didn't indulge eat anything the whole way there. BB (before band) I would have loaded up on Snacks and soda to have while driving. Second of all, I have not gone to amusement parks for years, partly because I was deathly afraid I wouldn't fit in a roller coaster and that would be beyond humiliating for me. Next, instead of roasting outside wearing short sleeves and pants, I was feeling nice and cool in a tank top and (Bermuda) shorts...which I would not have been caught dead in a year ago. Not to mention the tank was a medium and the shorts were a 10, which are sizes I have never in my life worn until now! Lastly, while I did have a few different things to eat at the park, I did not gorge myself like I would have BB. I had a few bites of funnel cake here, a little bit of popcorn there...and I felt satisfied and not deprived at all. Okay, maybe I felt slightly deprived because I heart soft pretzels more than anything and they had ridiculously big ones there that I would love to have devoured, but it was not worth my money to buy one only to eat a few bites. So I didn't, and that was okay. I also walked around the park for 10 hours and was not particularly tired and my feet didn't even really hurt.
The moral of the story is, while there has been a...learning curve...7 months out and 84 pounds down....I love my band!
