Congratulations on your upcoming banding! My surgery is October 12th and the process went quickly. Went to my first pre op info session on 8 /11 so it will be just 2 months from start to banding( fingers crossed). I am so excited for this. Hi everyone, I'm starting day 4 of pre-op diet. I'm starting to feel less hungry. I didn't have my first shake ( 3 carnation sugar free shakes/ day) till 11 am! Surgery is the 12th!

I am finding that my energy is low as well. I went out to walk my dog and had to take rests and sit down. I'm sure it's the liquid diet. I am on day 3! I made a chicken soup last night and just had the broth. It was yummy and the warm soup was soothing. I just keep looking forward.

So I am almost through day 2 of my 14 day liquid diet. It's not easy but I am looking ahead!

Hi Everyone, I start my pre op diet tomorrow, so my husband and I are going out for my "last supper" to an Italian restaurant here in Boston's North End which is the Italian area with great food. I'm stocked up for tomorrow and ready to start my journey. Surgery is 10/12.

My surgery date is Oct 14th and I am very excited too! A little nervous about the liquids for two weeks though.

I am scheduled for 10/12/11 at Salem. Have you had yours yet? How has it gone?
