  1. Lots of reading and learning. Find out as much as possible about the procedure before surgery!
  2. The fills do not do all the work! A good friend has lost over 80 lbs in 6 months with no fill!
  3. They made me walk around the room with my needle sticking out for the fluoro!
  4. It sounds like you!
  5. Depression after surgery is not at all unusual. Plus pre-op you were psyched about just getting there. Now the work begins. Allow yourself time to heal both mentally and physically. And tell the family to eat in another room or at a different time for a while. Just say hey... I need your help!
  6. Go back to the basics and follow them. If you still have head hunger issues, you have two choices, live with them an d continue to struggle or get professional help with the underlying issues. I can say that because I have had to follow my own advice!
  7. Likewise with the Champagne, just remember to count the calories and don't overdo the carbonation!
  8. Likewise with the Champagne, just remember to count the calories and don't overdo the carbonation!
  9. Yep... but you know what, it is your exercise time, not theirs so they can just butt out! You are there to make a better person of yourself, not them!
  10. Dust yourself off and get back on the horse. It is a journey, not a destination. Keep at it!
  11. Good progress, keep it up!
  12. Mine is right below rib cage towards the middle
  13. A can wear spanx, just don't need to anymore. If it does not hurt your incisions or press on you port, I don't see why not.
  14. Are you sliming? If not it probably passed through. Can you drink water? If not you need to call the doctor.
  15. Ask your doctor these questions. In general it is a bad idea to advance to stiffer foods early.
  16. Simple, I did not want my insides cut out. Lap Band for me!
  17. Why do you want a fill, you body is still healing from surgery? You need this time to prepare yourself for the new eating style. There is no rush to success here. Stay calm and follow doctor's orders!
  18. Dang it... Maddysgram is always first! What she said. We will pray for you. Come back and let us know how you are doing.
  19. Like Maddysgram said, we will be here for you. Read as much as you can about the surgery and ask all the questions you want of us here. Good luck! Proud of you for taking this step!
  20. I have no problems with popcorn.
  21. AWESOME!!! I would have to share too! Update your ticker!
