Newbie! Post Op 6 Days :)

Hi everyone! Today I am 6 days post op, woohoo! The first few days of recovery were tougher than I imagined, but getting easier every day. I also had a Hiatal Hernia repaired during the Lap Band surger. I have my first post op visit (suture removal) this Thursday. I'm a little nervous because I am supposed to be eating ONLY foods that "run" off the spoon. As of yesterday, I have ate a few soft foods. I started feeling like my blood sugar was constantly falling, and running out of ways to make food "run" off the spoon. I hope I'm not doing anything too wrong, guess I'll find out Thursday.

My question is, should I be able to eat more than 4oz at a meal, and when I do am I doing something wrong? Grrrr, so much ahead of me and I just don't want to mess anything up.

I'm looking forward to being a part of this forum :_

Ask your doctor these questions. In general it is a bad idea to advance to stiffer foods early.
