  1. If and only if incisions are fully healed... finger nail polish remover will take off the glue.
  2. Great.. now you have a new nearby friend!
  3. Every fill is a new beginning. My doc has me do liquids only for 24 hours followed by soft foods for 24 hours, but yes I go stuck on scrambled eggs after my first fill!
  4. Keep making progress. The journey continues!
  5. Nothing to worry about, but please give honest answers. They want to help you build a plan that will work for you!
  6. I have that too! It is very well done, but I mostly modify my own recipees now. But it would be very good for the non-cooks on the forum.
  7. Congrats on your NSVs Mads! YOU ROCK!
  8. Nervous is normal! We have all been there! Best wishes! In my clinic there have been no deaths by the way!
  9. I hope this helps you and you enjoy your holidays!
  10. Good catch. Now you know what you can handle!
  11. I have to eat my protein and carbs separately. I tried a small sandwich once and was immediately stuck and sliming. I think bites of sandwich are just too big all at once.
  12. Not if you are not getting the right nutrition in. Your band should not cause you to PB constantly. At least that is my opinion, but if the nurse said hang in, I would try, but not for much more than a week.

Have a great day. We don't get a lot of snow in NC!
  14. Congratulations. At least you should have no problems remembering your surgery date! Best wishes on your journey!
  15. You have asked the same question on several forum posts and been told to see a nutritionist. If it is still bothering you to just lose inches spend the money on a nutritionist visit. You are doing a nlot of exercise so your net calories is extremely low in my opinion.
  16. Good luck Mandy. This is a good forum for the most part and you can learn a lot between now and February!
  17. Best wishes... post again to let us know how you are doing!
  18. I had my tummy tuck about 3 years before the lap band. No problems whatsoever, and my flat tummy even came back! Good luck, just make sure your surgeon knows about your previous surgery.
  19. It sounds like you should be fine. Don't worry... worry leads to stress which leads to eating... at least with me! Relax and enjoy the ride!
  20. Generally you need to watch for "soft stops." They vary but can include: Coughing, sneezing, runny nose, hiccups, etc. I generally get one of these before I get the full sensation. Once I feel full, it is way to late... I am miserable for hours. I did not check you profile, but it sounds as if you are recently banded. If so, take it slow and easy. Good luck!
  21. My doctor just put me on daily Miralax, half dose each day. Until this week I have had chronic constipation. I also take 3 stool softeners daily. Benefiber did nothing for me.
  22. Best wishes, safe travels and Congratulations! Soon you will be in the post-band phase. Welcome!
  23. Be Yourself Everyone Else is Already Taken Best wishes... we will be here for you!
  24. Looking great girl and what a wonderful feeling! YAY!
  25. Wow Floridays... GREAT post! You have always been one of my inspirations! Keep it up!
