  1. It is said that splenda causes the same reaction in the body as sugar. I have been using stevia for quite a while. It have no after taste and I actually like it better. Some complain it make them go #2, but since I am constipated no problem, or might I add no help either! I still pee a lot, but I drink all day!

  4. You should be off shakes by now and on to real food. You will likely never have problems with shakes but you won't learn to eat real food either.
  5. Sounds like a full signal to me. And I mean lap band full not pre-lapband full! I always stop at the early signal... gets really ugly after that!

  8. Usually if you can eat 1 cup of food, including protein and are still hungry or get hungry again within 2 hours you might need a fill!

  11. I have whole conversations with my tummy and intestinal track now. It is perfectly normal and eventually you even begin to understand what it is telling you! LOL
  12. My trainer swears by bands... but do check for nicks or cuts that might cause failure. Been there too.
  13. Honey, if you feel like crying, cry. It will purge your system of the negative emotions and let you move on the the next challenge. Hang in there. If you are doing the right things the scale will move! Watch out for salt content!

  17. Yes, you lose fat everywhere, but not necessarily skin.
  18. Drink responsibly as always.
  19. Drink 2-3 oz of Protein at the top of each hour. Sip 3 oz of liquid each 15 minutes of the hour. Repeat. If you are awake for 14 hours, the net will be around 28-42 oz of protein and 126 oz of liquids. If you break it up like this it is easy to get it all in. Always have a Water bottle with you. You may not get any prescribed number of calories in, but you will get the protein and liquids which are most important during this healing phase. Worry about total calories when you start adding in solid food.
  20. If it hurts or pulls stop or change positions. You won't be the first to jump the gun!
  21. Keep down the repeat episodes though!
  22. I would be concerned if you lost weight throughout the pregnancy. The little one comes first! You are eating for two now... Make it healthy!
