  1. I hear you on waiting. Im scheduled for Feb 2011 but that is because that is my only time I can get off work for an extended period of time. All I know is the anticipation is sometimes overwhelming. Lily
  2. Congratulations!! I just love reading the awesome NSV's. They really keep me motivated to continue on to getting the sleeve. Keep up the great work and keep us posted. Lily
  3. Hi Pip 119 kilos is the same as 262 lbs. If you are trying to see the weight loss that has occured with most of the patients on here you can convert by dividing pounds by 2.2 to get kilos or multiplying kilos by 2.2 to get pounds. Or the rough look but still gives you the gist is to divide by 2 for lbs to Kilo and multiply by 2 to go from kilo to lbs. Lily
  4. Thank you everyone for your experiences! These are the kind of things I am looking forward too when I finally get my sleeve. You are all wicked awesome and enjoy reading the good and the bad that happens along the way. Lily
  5. You can get a medical loan. Not sure of the providers in the US but in Canada it is called Medicard finacial loan. As for doctors in your area I am not sure. I would suggest you do your research on the doctors to make sure you feel comfortable with whom you choose. Lily
  6. Blackberry can you put a stop payment on your credit card towards Golds Gym? Have someone else call up and ask questions about signing up and cancelling after a year. Or have someone go in and ask to see the one year contract if you cannot find yours. Thanks for the info Lily
  7. Lets hope you get the date you want. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Lily
  8. But if you can get to Mexicali I hear Dr Aceves is the tops. Lily
  9. Hey doeboy, I think you really need to do your research on any doctor that you are considering. I heard that Dr Rumbaut in Monterray MX does perform the sleeve. I am not fully sure of his credentials but I think I heard he was good. Lily
  10. Congratulations! Keep up the great work you will get to goal! Lily
  11. Yahhh I think this is an awesome victory to share! Keep up the great work. Lily
  12. I heard there are Iphone apps that remind you to drink your Water and to eat your meals. I personally do not have an Iphone so these apps do not help me out. Maybe you should carry around a Protein Bar on the weekends and have an alarm on your cell that will remind you to eat if you have forgotten. I have not had the sleeve (as of yet) but I do remember some of these suggestions from the boards awhile back. Hope this helps. Lily
  13. Congratulations! What a great update Keep up the great work. Lily
  14. wow great update! Thank you for your personal experience. Makes me still believe that is this the right route for me. Lily
  15. Yahhh awesome NSV! goes to show while you are still losing it might be best to buy cheaper clothes until you hit your stable weight. Must feel great to get into a size 10. Lily

  20. You might want to talk to Tiffykins as she would most likely know about coverage for the military. Lily
  21. Mp8 to convert lbs to Kgs it takes 2.2 lbs for every 1 kilo. I usually do a rough estimate by multiplying the kilo by 2 and adding on a bit. Gets a close idea. Lily
  22. Keep us updated! I cant wait to be in your shoes and on my way. Lily
  23. Excellent idea! from the mouths of babes.
  24. Congratulations! You are on your way. Lily
  25. I believe it! I when I have gone out pants shopping and one company's pants I can fit into comfortably and others I have to go up a couple of sizes to get them to fit. Now I really have no idea what size I am! This is one of the reasons why I hate to shop for clothes. Lily
