NSV NSV...JEAN SHOPPING

Recommended Posts

I bought two new pairs of jeans two weeks ago at Kohls and they were size 12 but a tiny bit loose, I wore one and put the others up and now two weeks later I am going to have to take those back and get a size 10, I bought one new pair from Target and they were 10's also! havent been a size ten in a long time. I was wearing 14's but had gained 15 pounds in those and stretched em so I am sure I would have needed 16 if I had bought any jeans right before surgery.

I am going to post the pre-op pics and my success thus far when I hit the 40 pound loss mark. I am hoping I can lose that 5 pounds in the next two weeks. It is also really awesome because the Tummy Tuck I had 3 years ago is finally showing!

I am excited and pleased...i am almost giddy.

Yahhh awesome NSV! goes to show while you are still losing it might be best to buy cheaper clothes until you hit your stable weight. Must feel great to get into a size 10.

That is awesome! I'm currently wearing size 12 jeans from kohls, so I'm right behind ya :)-I too was a 14 or 16 misses depending on style. Yesterday I bought a pair of size 8 Bill Blass jeans at Marshalls for $12.99. They are NOT true 8's at all, maybe 10's, and I can't wait to wear them :)

Not getting sleeve until after the new year - first week of January - but cannot wait to have a similar moment some day in the future! Congrats!

It is so fun reading all the posts by successful sleevers - cannot wait to join you on the loser side!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
