I started my liquids today. My surgery is on Oct. 14th. Not too bad so far but it's been only 5 hours!

Mine is October 14th too!! I start my pre op diet Sunday, not looking forward to that but looking forward to the end result Yea !!!!!!

Good luck with it Missy. I will be doing the same as you in a couple weeks. Try to think of the end result and how worth it all will be. Keep smiling

Good Morning All ! I just wanted to say that I have gotten a date for my surgery...October 14th with Dr Ponce de Leon ! I am sooo excited and scared too. I have done alot of research and this is what my husband and I have decided. This just seems like crazy talk...going to Mexico to have surgery....but it is all ok. My daughter had hers done (not in Mexico) last November and I have been observing her all this time, asking questions,etc. and have decided that this is for me too! We will become "sleeve buddies". I am so glad she told me about this site and all of the wonderful people willing to share their experiences. I will keep you posted on my progress

Has anyone used Dr Ponce de Leon at the Jerusalem Hospital? If so, did you like him?
