  1. Emotions are completely normal. It is just as the previous post said. You have been flooded with estrogen. 100 lbs! Wow! I'm 2 months out and only down 20. What are your secrets? I would like to speed up my loss.
  2. I had the same itchy tummy. I put neosporin and hydrocortisone on the spots. The neosporin helped the most. Good luck.
  3. I seem to be able to eat more than I think I should be able too. For example a whole granola bar....I'm 8 weeks out. Do you think I've stretched my sleeve?
  4. Calories do you eat on average daily? I'm trying to stay at 800 but I am finding I'm hungry. I drink water constantly so I don't think its thirst. I take a ppi. I don't think its head hunger because I can feel my blood sugar getting low. I get 60-90gms of protein a day. Just curious as to how many calories others are eating and still losing weight. Thanks!
  5. Costcos shakes have 30 grams of protein. 2-3 daily would meet your protein requirement. They recently started carrying vanilla too. I like the chocolate better but the vanilla is good for smoothies.
  6. So I let my blood sugar get way too low. In my feverish attempt to raise it, I scarfed down an entire piece of pizza!!!! Surprisingly my sleeve didn't revolt as I would expect....I am so mad at myself. I should have grabbed a protein drink instead. I probably stretched the heck out of my sleeve! Who would thunk pizza would be a skidded!?!?
  7. What type of shakes do you use Michelle?
  8. Ok that sounds like a plan to me!!!!!
  9. Tiffykins what do you eat to stay under 30 carbs? Everywhere I turn there are carbs carbs carbs!!!!
  10. Dreamlife have you been sleeved get?
  11. First off for you low carbers...what is the difference? How do you figure it out? Do you count your net or total carbs? I was looking for some low carb options today. Came across some adkins bars. They advertise 24 carbs but "only 4 net carbs." Would you count the the 24 or the 4?
  12. For the last week or so I have been HUNGRY HUNGRY HUNGRY ALL THE TIME!!! I feel like I could eat and eat. Also for the past two weeks I have been gaining and losing and gaining the same 1-2 pounds up and down....Geez I'm so frustrated!
  13. Hi all. 6 week checkup and only down 20 lbs. I think this qualifies me as a slow loser.... At least I'm in good company!
  14. I am so frustrated with my lack of weight loss. I had my 6 week check up today and I'm only down twenty pounds since sugery. I have two friends that had the surgery. One a week and a half before me and she's down forty. Another that had it three weeks after me and she's down thirty. I lost 15 in my two week preop diet. I should of just continued with that. It just makes me want to cry. Ugh....I just needed to vent.

  19. Yes! All of my pain was on the left. It was where my largest incision was. Where they pulled out the excess stomach. It lasted around 2 weeks. But did improve slowly each day.
  20. Remembering to eat slowly? It never fails...I'm eating thinking I'm doing great then BAM I'M SO FULL IT HURTS!!! I know this would improve if I could get myself in the habit of going slowly. Any tips?
  21. I'm a nurse on a busy floor. 3 weeks.
