  3. Two weeks ago I had the right side of my thyroid removed. I had a nodule that was causing me to be hyperthyroid. Since the surgery I have gained 5 pounds!!! I am scared to death that the scale is going to continue its climb up. I'm watching my diet, protein first, lots of water....Has anyone else battled their thyroid? I am desperate for advice.

  9. That I have stretched my sleeve. I am guilty of not always eating slowly and having that stuffed feeling come on quickly. I know its terrible. Lately it seems like I don't get full. Example;cheese. I used to feel completely full and satisfied with 1 individual 3/4 individually wrapped piece. Now I can eat two plus a few saltines with no problem. I am 20 weeks out. I have also had major thyroid problems. I was hyperactive thyroid. Seems like it would of helped me lose faster lol. I had the right half of my thyroid removed a week ago. Anyway, I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels they have stretched their sleeve. But do you think I have? Any suggestions? I have only lost 45 lbs since august 26, and I'm afraid of not losing anymore:(

  13. 3.5-5.3 is normal. But since you are on the low end the dr. May want you on a low dose of potassium. And yes low magnesium as well as low calcium can result in this. So can hyperthyroidism and many other conditions. You need to speak with your Dr. About it asap. Best wishes!
  14. Nope its not safe to do those things:(
  15. You need your electrolytes checked. I had the same issue and my potassium was low as well as my thyroid being off. Call your Dr.
