I Am Crazy Hungry!
I am 11 weeks and five days out and I have to say the hunger thing has left the building. I really didn’t think that would happen to me because at first right after the sleeve I wanted food and odd things for me that is . I really cant believe how free I now feel. The hunger, thoughts about food when to eat what to eat how much to eat has really left me. I hope it stays this way and I to hope for you this will happen. I know we are all different and our weight loss will go at different rates to so try not to compare yourself with other to much so that you wont get discouraged. One day, one hour or one min at a time and we will get to our happy place.

3 Months Post Op And Only 45Lbs Down.
I am 11 weeks and five days out and my start weight was 240 and today I am 204. I at first thought I would be a slow looser because I have PCOS and loosing weight has always been an issue. The one thing that really has helped me in the past before surgery was exercise. I really have had my ups and downs with exercise and do have back issues that haven’t help me . I just got back from taking my family to Disney World and I lost seven pounds on that trip and I know why, I walked , walked and walked some more. This is just another example to me on how much exercise does help me with my weight loss. I also told myself going in to not compare myself with others and to be patient with myself. I really don’t think your doctor should be telling you where YOU Should Be with your weight loss ,we are all very different in our journey. Don’t beat yourself up, be kind to you and believe me I know how hard that is to do. We are on a life long journey and we will get to our happy place in our time.

Week 11-- Sooo Bummed Right Now. But Tryin To Keep My Head Up
I am so sorry to hear of your pain and I can relate so much. I am seven weeks out and haven’t started to do any exercise due to the hernia repair and the six weeks hold my DR put me on so that the hernia could heal. I have DDD in my L3L4L5 S1 and have been dealing with this for over16 years. I just had my third codal block today. I so want to start exercising but am also scared that I may hurt myself. I have lost 25 pounds and to some this is not that much however I am ok with it. I know I am going to have to start doing something and cycling in what I did two years ago before my knees got the best of me. I had the surgery so that I could manage my pain by loosing the weight and being active however I to feel stuck and I have just begun. I can just say keep the faith and one day at a time for us both. Tips To Avoid Throwing Up After Eating?
I feel your pain. Today I am eleven days out and for some reason I want to think I much further along. I at out with my kids at panera today and ordered potato soup. I have been eating soft textured soup at home with no know issue and have tolerated every thing I have tried so far however today was the dreaded day of hell. I had the worse stomach cramps and pain I have ever had in my life. I called my DR office to let them know and to find out if my stomach was going to bust open. The nurse said it was probably an ingredient in the soup. I had upper and lower cramps for at least an hour and then it went away. I am now so leery of trying any new food I never want to have that happen again. Most of what I have been eating is very soft . I have eaten laughing cow cheese and it is good and smashed beans and an egg or two but not very much more. I guess we just have to take it real slow which is hard for me however I never want to feel what I felt today , so for me liquids may be in my future much longer than I had planed. Best of luck to you.

Ouch!
Today is day eleven and I have been telling people it has been two weeks. I feel like I have been sleeved much longer than eleven day, and I am not sure why this is. As a result of this I think I have been adding some foods back a little to early. At my Dr apt he said I could start on soft foods like egg and cheese. I did the egg and it was good and had no issues. Today I went out to lunch with my kids after one of their DR appointments to Panera Bread. I choose the potato soup. I have been doing well with soup at home and even had potato soup at another restraunt with no problems. The soup at Panera just about killed me! I have had very good luck with all food so far but the soup there made me bend over double and my stomach cramped like I have never felt in my life. I called my Dr office and ask Mary the nurse if my stomach was going to bust open or what. She said not and to give it a bit of time then call her back to let her know if it passed. After about 15 min of spasms and cramping , noises coming from upper and lower stomach and a stop to a bathroom just in case it did subside for at least 20 min until I got home and had to run to the bathroom again. Around ten min in the bathroom and both kids wondering if I was going to be able to make it to the pool , it was gone. I Never want to have that again. The nurse said it was probably something in the soup like high fat or oil content. AllI can say is I am leery to try cream soup ever again. I will say it again Never will I ever want to have that happen aging. So my question to any one who read this post is what have you had issues with when it comes to food?

I Am Back And In Full Force
Congratulation on loosing 75 pounds what an accomplishment. I am new just ten days out so I am not the person who you are looking for to help however I just wanted to say great job! I hope you can find what help you need. I know this is a life long issuer we all have to face and that the sleeve is just one great tool. I do have one question and I have been waiting to ask some one who has been sleeved for a while. I now have no appetite do you find that this grows or is it head hunger that is more of an issue the longer you are sleeved? Best of luck to you.

1 Week Post-Op Is Not What I Expected!
God bless you and your family at this time. I am ten days out and I know how emotional it is just to go throuhg the surgery and recover form all of that . I know this is a big blow and cant imagine having to deal with the pain of morning the loss of my mother. I have been told God doesn’t put more on us than we can handle and I have felt at times that is a stupid statement however I have also used it to gain strength. Take care of yourself as I am sure your mother would have wanted you to live a happy healthy life. Jennifer

Peanut Butter Cracker!
It is my fifth day out and I have been trying to reacquaint my stomach to my head, it isn’t easy. I feel like I have been doing well on the liquid diet and really don’t seam to have an appetite right now, however I am now craving a peanut butter cracker and I think this is so strange. I haven’t even been able to figure out when I am full or when I am really hungry. I seam to be acting very cautious with volume of food and haven’t had to give any of it up which is one of my goals, because I cant imagine how that would feel on my very sore stomach. After thinking about this PB cracker for two day now I did just give in and ate it very, very slowly, making sure it was going to pass for a liquid. I will see later if that worked however now I do feel satisfied, is this crazy or what?

Today Is The Day! Surgery!
Today is sat and I had my surgery on Thursday and I just got home around one today. I am glad I got to spend two days in the hospital, I really needed it. I am very sore and the Dr had to fix a very large navel hernia which is still patched Monday. I thought I might be able to get around much better than I am now. I am only eating sf popsicles and jello and am going to through in some chicken broth to. Not sure how much to eat so I am taking it very slow. Just wanted to check in.Jennfier

Today Is The Day! Surgery!
I am nervous and hope that when I wake up from the deep sleep I am not in panic wondering what I have done to myself. I have read that it can happen and I hope by knowing this I am somewhat prepared. One thing that makes me nervous is the anathetic and knowing that I may not be able to be fit with a eng tub due to my TMJ and and a small mouth. I am sure I am not the first person to have this. Wish me luck and I will see you all on the other side.
