  1. I got real lucky, my pcp is part of U.C Davis hospital group in Sacramento and they have some of the best weight loss surgeons in the area. The main surgeon actually trains others on the procedure so I was sold. I didnt really have to search but I would do some research, read some reviews and go from there. Word of mouth is normally the best. Maybe go to some support groups in your area and see what they have to say about their surgeons. Good luck to you!
  2. Oh yes, if you didnt hurl...you are good. They are nasty!

  4. The only redness is where I was itching the most. I am trying real hard not to itch so I can check it out. I was wondering that myself, hair growing back maybe itching? It doesnt seem like it is growing back yet but...

  6. Hi everyone. I have been experiencing hair loss the last month ( I am ok with that, part of the deal) I am 17 weeks out but my issue is a REALLY itchy scalp, anyone else have that problem? It is so bad sometimes I am making it slightly raw. I have no visible dry skin or dandruff ( never had before either) If you have had this issue, what did you do to relieve the itching, it is driving me crazy. Thanks in advance!
  7. I am on a acid reducer for the first 6 months...and I do notice it when I forget to take it. I woke up in the middle of the night with horrible acid reflux...I almost felt like I was choking and then it is hard to get that taste out of your mouth...pretty gross.
  8. OMG Carla, I had to laugh but I am soo sorry you had that horrible experience. It had to be the sweetener in that pudding. Best of luck finding stuff your sleevie likes!
  9. Congrats to you and your family. Best of luck to you!
  10. I was able to have protein drinks the day I came home. I was eating mushies at 1 1/2 to two weeks and soft at 3 weeks. I bought several different protein drinks, crystal light, milk, yogurt, broths and soups ( which I blended to make smooth) Good luck!

  20. When you dont have enough calories your body goes into starvation mode, slowing your metabolism and burning the calories very slowly. Upping the calories kicks your metabolism back up thus burning calories faster and starting weight loss again. It does work...I change up my calories regularly.
  21. Wow...you look amazing! Love the haircut by the way!
