  1. I was banded yesterday the 25th too. I am ready to start losing the weight!! I am feeling pretty good too. Good luck and congratulations.
  2. My doctor told me that weight loss can cause gall stones. I had my gall bladder taken out after a severe attack and ended up in the er. I am still waiting for my lap band surgery (hopefully end of March, beginning of April) so I am glad I got it removed before the surgery. There is no need to be in pain if you don't have to be. Also the surgery was so easy. I was up and running around within a day or two. I have heard that people had to have there band emptied to have their gall bladder removed and it was like starting all over again with finding their green zone. I know I wouldn't want to go through that again from what I have read on this forum about finding your green zone.
