  1. You cant eat crap and lose weight. I rarely eat starchy carbs. I have lived.
  2. I have not excercised one darn bit. I have been successful. Exercising makes no yay or nay to sagging skin. It is how resilliant your skin is and how much elasticity you have. Exercise will not help with sagging skin. You're either gonna sag or not. I have done well with no exercise. I park father away at stores but that is it. Oh and well work like a dog too. But physical exercise none, nada, zilch
  3. Honey I went a whole year without weight loss. It happens and you just have to plug on. Then I had drastic weight loss and now will be losing my gallbladder because of it. Believe me lose it slow. Those who want fast weight loss are setting themselves up for problems. My doctor said those with extreme weight loss usually end up with gall stones so dont be in a hurry. Let your body adjust it has no choice but to start losing eventually.
  4. You will do it. This will not be like the other times. It's good you are starting now. Don't let the holidays mess with ya though. It's about family and friends now not food.
  5. I do but not many. I do go to thrift stores and have found unused clothes with tags on them still. It can be less money in the long run until you reach goal. I enjoy thrift shopping. I got three new pair of jeans for 2 bucks each and had never been worn. Still had the price tags on them.
  6. We all have failed other diet regimins, thus leading us to weight loss surgery. I say no. You don't, won't need it if you follow the rules. Losing weight rapidly sets you up for failure or other health issues. Don't rush it the slower the better.
  7. Ha it will probably make me lose more lol. Im good just a word to the wise. Fast is not always better.
  8. We all have I look fat days. It's part of even a skinny person's life. You can't judge a book by its cover. Stop defeating yourself. You are worth so much more.
  9. Wow I have lost a whole person but have gained so much. Love you all xoxoxoxo
  10. Yes CG Im watching every thing you put in your mouth lol. Food its not what's for dinner lol
  11. 112lbs lost as of this morning. I am 175. I looked in the mirror and said girl you look so skinny. I will make it to my goal of 160 by my birthday in January. Rocking 50 with a new me. You see with perseverence you can do it. It takes work. It takes dedication. Did I slip up ever? Yes I did and spent six months of ice cream fetishing but then I got myself back on deck and feeling very proud of myself now. I have not weighed 160 for 31 years since I gave birth to my son. Gonna get a tatoo for my birthday that says " I learned to be in love with myself" !
  12. No weight loss surgery or diet is going to work if the person doing it doesnt take some responsibility. I have lost 112 pounds 15 pounds from goal. It works if you work it. Simple as that. You cant eat what you want and expect to be a size 8 its not gonna work.
  13. I honestly look at how thinner people eat now. I also look at how obese people eat which makes me sick to say the least because it's a replica of how I used to be. I dont think about food anymore much. I eat when Im hungry, enough to get by for a couple hours and keep it moving. I dont think about when my next meal is going to be or when Im gonna get a snack I just try to keep my body nurished when I do eat. I make the most of meal time now.
  14. well my word of advice. I just had rapid weight loss 50lbs in four months. Guess what? Im having my gallbladder removed because of it. Lose the weight slowly. Your gallbladder can not keep up with all the cholesterol the liver is dumping in it there fore making stones. Lose it slow even though you want more. Its not worth the risk.
  15. 175 this morning whoop whoop
  16. Hair loss is common in mostly all people who have had weight loss surgery.
  17. I do not understand why when you all get banded you still want to do the same diets that failed us before surgery. Just let your band work the way it's supposed to and you will be successful
  18. Then you need to call them back and get better instructions.
  19. Ask your doctor what to take because he may not want you to take that.
  20. I would not eat about four hours before.
  21. I never got my first fill for a whole year. It is true that some with just the restriction of the band they can lose a lot without a fill. I still only have 3'cc in a 10cc band after 3 years.
  22. Oh no we need to kick his a-ss lol. I'm game I was always good at kicking my son's asses. I still think at 49 and 10 months I could do it with no problem. My sons always shaved their heads and still do because I pulled their hair so much.
