I'm Cass! I am 30 yrs old and I was banded August 21, 2012. This was my first surgery EVER and I was extremely nervous. Everything went well but because I couldnt digest the mandated amount of fluids I had to stay overnight! I actually hid my surgery from friends and family because of the negativity these surgeries attrack! I also had a hernia removed and to this day people believe that is the only procedure I had done. I have been banded for almost 3 months now and so far lost over 20lbs.
