I was also submitted on the 10th and still havent heard. I call the doctors office and thye said they havent heard anything yet

I am also waiting on approveal, have everything required done, and was submitted last week to my insurance, as of right now have not been told anything, and I am so excited and nervous at the same time, good luck with yours add me as a freind if you want

Hello my name is Rose, I am 55 years old wating on approval for lapband, started to get thing togeather back in December 2010. looking for friends on here that are around my age that are going thru this also. So glad there is people in the same age group that I am in. I just hope my insurance approves this for me. This process is so long to get approved. Seems like it takes forever. I hope I learn how to navagate this site is a little confusing to me. But thanks for all the encouragement.

I have finally got everything I need done , I am jsut waiting on approval from my insurance. I am nervous and excited at the same time, but I no this weight has to come off. My weight as of now is 257 and I am only 5'2 ,and I am 55 , my kids are telling I am to old for this surgery. What do you think
