  1. Glad to hear it all went well.....let us know how your weight loss goes.
  2. I had mine done at the TRUE RESULTS Center in Houston Tx. Great experience. I did have some minor complications, but there were pleanty of docs and nurses monitoring me. After being supervised all day, I was transfered to a nearby hospital, to monitor me overnight, per docs precautions.
  3. Didnt mean to scare you....I'm sure you'll do great! Im just an oddball. Good luck with surgery, and keep us posted.
  4. I am now banded! Had some minor complications during surgery, had to be transfered to a hospital after surgery, since surgery was done at outpatient clinic. For some reason after waking up from surgery, I was spitting up blood. I had wheezing in my lungs, and just felt awful. Doc said it was something to do with the tube going down my throat, and creating a negative pressure. Its not very common, but said it happens somtimes with big strong men like me...(Yeah!...he called me strong..lol!). Air in chest cavity is for the dogs! That crap hurts! Call me a big sissy, but i dont like it when I hurt. I am now somewhat back to normal. A little excited with the journey in front of me. I am already fitting into shirts that had shrunk on me...LOL!
  5. Congratulations on your weights loss so far. I know you havent had a fill yet, but do you get hungry?
  6. Getting ready for the big day tomorrow..... I had me one beer last night, just for old time sakes! Hope I didnt screw anyting up, just needed to chug one since that will be a thing of the past.
  7. I would also like to thank you Dave. I hope one day I can share a succesful experience as you have. I tell you these first few days of pre-op diet have been really hard! Congratulations on your succes! Orlando
  8. Wow!....seems like my diet is a little tuffer. I am two replace two meals with Protein shakes (lunch and dinner). Then I get to eat 6-8 oz of lean meat, with a cup of vegies. Good luch with your diet!
  9. Hey Gashman - Im scheduled for the 22nd, starting my diet today! Hope these Protein shakes, and sugar free Jello's can keep me satisfied. I also plan on starting to exercise today. I'm like you think I'm gonna be cranky from time to time. Hope i can make it....!
