  1. Alot of people go to mexico to have the surgeries, as long as you pick a reputable Dr. You will have no problems.. Good Luck!
  2. Follow the Dr. recommended procedures as close as possible. you will get back on track, good luck!
  3. Congratulations on your success I hope, I just lose 50-60 lbs by 6-months! I would be so happy!
  4. not even a small one, best thing I have ever done besides marrying my wife and having my children....
  5. good luck ! gods speed!
  6. good luck on both of your journeys!
  7. You can if I can.... I was a boredom eater... if got bored, I ate. If money is or was tight, and I had nothing to do or no where to go i ate. I ate myself to 470lbs. Got diabetes, high blood pressure and a host of other issues... My sleeve has changed that in my personality. I no longer revert to eating everytime I am bored. I have found, that at night when I would usually have that last snack right before bedtime some times I find myself staring into the refrigerator for no reason at all. I can't possibly eat another bite but my head is telling me this is where I am supposed to be, now! It is truly bizarre..? So hang in there get your sleeve and work the post surgery diet. Don't expect to lose weight every day or even every week. It took you a while to put it on and its gonna take a while to take it off. It will come off! I promise you it will, if you stick to your post op procedures... Good luck!
  8. As you diet changes back to normal foods you hunger might decrease alot more. Bide your time untill you make back to regular foods. Remember liquids and pureed foods will ease through you sleeve faster than whole foods will... Good luck...!
  9. You'll be fine, I dont know about other experiences here but I had my gall bladder removed 5 years ago and this surgery was a breeze compared to that. I wish you all the success i have had.... good luck!
  10. Rootman I also had the same problems pre surgery... Stinking sheets and blanket and sweat stains even in the winter time.... Now it seems to be lessening with every pound, so much so i can now shower at night with the wife and wake in the morning not haveing to shower again in the morning.. Nice!
  11. it will change! I can vouch for that.... Try the man room for this type of question from now on. No guarantee that the ladies wont snoop to see whats going on in there just know that us guys will deffinatley look in there..

  13. I have some really nice size 4 x and 5x casual golf pull over 3 button shirts and a pair of Carhart Jeans size 52 / 30 and i will have a several pairs of 50 / 30 dress pants if any male could use them let me know.... I can take some picts and email them to you if you would like... I am down to size 48 in the waist now and can still wear the 4x shirts but they are getting a bit large....
  14. I think you should make her put her money where her mouth is and up the bet to $1000.00 and see how serious she is...I would be willing to bet she wont make that bet because, she is not sure about it.. iIknow I woud be willing to bet I never regain my weight. I am only 8 weeks out but, I can not eat 1/4 of what i was eating and i had already lost about 100 lbs in 2 years.... This last 140 is where the problem lies. I have always been able to lose 100 lbs but i have never been able to get past that mark or keep it off. I dont think i can eat enough now to sustain more than 240 lbs....even with my turtle slow metabolism.... Good luck!
  15. Knowing I'll be alive to see my grandchildren grow up (barring an accident) Walking without as much pain Bending at the waist Buying clothes because i have lost weight and not gained it... And yes SEX! in your forties is better than when I was a teenager... feeling strong again, being able to work like your going to accomplish something instead of feeling like you'll never get done..
  16. you do know the warts are likley all inside of the Vaginal canal also? right not just on the outside labia?
  17. Diesel, I my names Jim I too had alot of what your feeling before being on soft foods... Relax and let it pass.... Remember you are only eating liquids, try sugarfree popsicles to soothe you between meals or blended canned peaches & pears with cottage cheese.... It helped alot just blend them with some fruit juice no sugar added untill they are as smoothe as you need them.... I did this until i was able to eat soft foods. I still lost 16 lbs before I went back to work 5 days after released from hospital...
  18. Try Isopure from GNC clear koolaid like protein drink, if you cant stand the taste try mixing it with no sugar added fruit juice and MIO drink enhancer...

Love it drink atleast a full bottle a week or more.....
  20. My Dr. said anything that I could suck through a straw was legal for me to have during full liquids. I was blending vegtable beef soup, chili, and anthing else that i could make into a smooth liquid day 6 - 2 weeks, then thick pureed food from week 2 - week 4, then whole soft foods week 4 - day 50, now onto full foods.... you did nothing wrong!
  21. instead of using water or cows milk to thin, try using soy milk for the extra protein push....
  22. chicken Tika - Yogurt mixed with curry seasoning coat small bite size pieces of skewered chicken then grill on your outdoor grill..... Mmmmm!
  23. try Isopure from GNC it's clear and thin like Water but still has 40 grams of protien in each bottle. If the taste is not what you like try mixing with no sugar added fruit juice and a shot or 2 of MIO Water Enhancer. I personally liked the green flavor the best i think it was watermelon or apple not sure... I mixed it with juice from wal-mart with a shot of strawberry/watermelon MIO, this was the easiest way for me to get it all down in on day......Good luck
