sleeve 4 me got a reaction from abetterme4.2 in 3 years post op
In a few hours I will be 3 years post op! WHOO HOO!!!!!!!
I am still lovin my sleevie! It has been an amazing journey. It was really tough at first but here I am 3 years out and SOOOO HAPPY.
Here are a few pics from a few days ago in a Macy's changing room where I was looking for a dress to wear for a wedding in December (size 6 dress and NO Spanx, however I will be wearing them at the wedding LOL) to pics from a few weeks ago (wearing all white jrs. dress, say what??? ...and a few before pics for those who don't know me.
I also included a picture from the day I actually tried on my wedding dress in July 2011 and IT FIT!!!! That was a personal goal I really wanted to reach and I DID IT!!!!! WHOOT!
My highest weight recorded was 234 and a tiiiiight 18W (I refused to buy any bigger)...my lowest weight post op was 144 and actually was wearing a few 4's. Today I'm 155 and STILL WEARING clothes from May 2011 when I reached my normal BMI goal weight of 150 (6-8's). Not bad for this nearly 46 year old!
I'M SOOOO GRATEFUL TO GOD for my sleeve! And I'm SOOO THANKFUL for all of you who have supported me during this journey. A special shout out to my southern CA VST family! Thank you for always being there for me, your support has truly helped me through it all!!!
    HUGS!

OK my peeps I have to move my weight gained from 1-5 to now 5-10 but it's ALLLLLL GOOD ...Lowest weight is 144 and currently 148-152, which varies 2 lbs under goal or 2 lbs over goal, just depends on Water weight, etc. I'm sure if I ate 100% what I'm supposed to eat, and drink the right amount of Water, etc. I would drop, as a matter of fact I know I would, not to mention all this loose skin BLAH...when I think about when I weighed 234 for nearly a decade I CAN'T COMPLAIN!!!!!! I AM SOOOO HAPPY! I have been at goal since May 2011 and I WOULD HAVE NEVER EVER EVER EVER been able to do this EVER in my life before my sleevie! And at 44 years old (going on 45 next month) to boot!!! Can I get an AMEN???? LOL!
I'm 26 months out now and work out AT LEAST 3 times a week now (1 hour sessions). And I DON'T DIET AT ALL! AT ALL! That IN ITSELF is a MIRACLE! I still eat pretty healthy for the most part, and still take my multi Vitamin every day. I'm no longer addicted to the scale. And I'm still wearing a size 6
My problem is STILL trying to get in the right amount of daily water ugh...I really need to up that. But other than that LIFE is GREAT! I am SO thankful for my sleevie!
Anyhoo, will update again in December Best wishes until then!!!

OK so you would fall under the 1-5 lbs. I understand you normally lose it, but I'm really just interested in the MOST weight gain sleevers have had.

    Thanks sweets!

    HI Y'all,

I wanted to do some research with REAL people instead of reading about it in some report.

I'm wondering how much weight (IF ANY) you have gained since being sleeved. I go up between 1-3 lbs. so my answer would be 1-5 lbs.

I'm curious to see how this goes.

    Thanks!

I was such a 'bad girl' yesterday - I made a home made peach cobbler, home made vanilla ice cream. Believe it or not, when I entered the recipes into My Fitness Pal, the cobbler is almost double the ice cream, in calories! I had two servings of each between 2 PM and 9 PM. I weighed 149.2 when I went to bed, but Praise God.....I was back down to 146.4 this morning. I was afraid I'd be about a pound more than that. But today, back to normal. I love it that life feels like it MUST feel to naturally thin people. Eat things that aren't in your everyday diet, but go back to normal the next.

OK y'all just wanted to check in. I have 2.4 lbs. to be back at my normal BMI goal, sigh !!!

As I unfortunately found out, YOU CAN GAIN WEIGHT BACK, they KEY (at least for me) has been to FACE THAT TRUTH and never allow it get out of control ever again, and always get back to the basics (protein, Protein, protein). Which I have known, I'm just STUBBORN LOL! But I'm sooooo thankful for people like feedyoureye, NtvTxn, Ms Skinniness, iegal, and many many others who NEVER stop sharing that positive reinforcement! Don't ever give up on us guys! We will eventually get it !!!!
I hope check back here reeeeeal soon to say I'm back at goal, until then keep keeping on and go drink a Protein Shake LOL!

    Hi there!
I actually just incorporate the Protein into the ww program. On ww I get 26 points per day and 45 bonus points per week (to use in one shot or to spread out within the 7 days). On the ww program FRUIT and VEGGIES are 0 points WHICH IS AWESOME. I typically eat grapes, melons, bananas, oranges and cherries. And I love carrot chips with fat free ranch (which is 1 point per 2 tablespoons).
OK here's a typical day while trying to lose weight, not maintenance, so less calories (approx times):
    5:30 am Premier Protein shake
    6:30 am fruit (unlimited)
7:30 am. 1 or 2 boiled eggs or Protein shake
9:00-10:00 am. carrot chips (unlimited) with ff ranch
11:00-12:00 p.m. Starbucks venti caramel frap lite or something 6-8 points, but I like my frap so yeah
1:00 pm (if hungry fruit or veggies)
3:00 pm Protein Bar and or almonds
4:30-5:30 gym (zumba or weights) I don't give myself exercise points
6:15 pm 4 or 5 egg white omelette with mushrooms, green bell peppers, ham, onion, and fat free cheese MM MM GOOD!!!!!!!
7:00 pm close it up with a diet Dr. Pepper or Diet Pepsi, I'm super full by then and STAY OUT OF THE KITCHEN.

    Hope it helps!

    Congratulations!!
Can you post what you eat on a typical day?
I am really struggling. If I go really low carb , Constipation is a big problem. I feel like I need fruit in my diet.
Some people say to eat low fat. How in the heck do you eat low carb, low calorie and low fat now that we eat more normally?
Maybe I do need to join weight watchers so I can learn to eat like a normal person.
