  1. OHHHHHHHHH OK Coops I found what were talking about the before and after pics post , I was actually trying to help someone find the ticker post lol...I hope I find it. Anyhoo, here's mine
  2. These PCPs have no idea what they are talking about. I specifically remember Dr. Zane saying if WE say you need a panni, you get one and it's the only plastic loose skin procedure that Kaiser will cover. Now that is when the referral comes from the bariatric department. I'm not sure what is going to happen in my case, since it came from obgyn. I really wasn't even thinking about a panni otherwise I would have asked Dr. Zane for one. I did the initial panni class right away in Fontana. I'm scheduled to see the surgeon on September 14th, in Fontana (they actually wanted to see my sooner I just couldn't make the appt). So I guess it all depends on how the appt goes that day. If it's meant to be, it shall be ...I'm still scurrred about the 2 drains LOL! I will definitely keep you posted!!!
  3. You look great! Thanks for sharing
  4. YOU LOOK GREAT! Way to GOOOOOO!
  5. WOW! AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME! Way to GOOOO Sister Sleeve ...HUGS!!!!!!!!!
  6. Thanks Luna! Even though I was this weight over 20 years ago, I never remember seeing light there! It's an amazing feeling yayyyyy!
  7. Thanks everyone! You all continue to inspire me
  8. Thanks!!! I got the idea from deedee. She was wearing a white tank and capris in her before and after pics. It's a great idea
  9. Awww thanks coops! So sweet of you! OK I will look for the before and after thread So far, so good. I think I finally caught the hang of maintaining (knock on wood lol)...I bounce from 145-148, today 147 and started my period today, that in itself is another huge miracle. Before I could easily gain 5-10 lbs. on my period, it still blows my mind.
  10. I remember thinking, will this work. Maybe I can do it on my own...I was terrified and excited at the same time. I had lost 12 lbs. prior to surgery and 18 lbs. on my own before that. In the before pics I'm wearing a size 14 misses Levis and XL tank, and in the after taken a few minutes ago, I'm wearing a size 4 misses Levis and S tank. I still have my muffins, but at least they are mini compared to last year AND I don't work out like I should. Anyhoo, I'm so glad I had the support that talked me in to going for it and here I am today and couldn't be happier Thanks to ALL who have inspiried me on this journey love and blessings to ALLLLL!
  11. YOU LOOK TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAYYYYYYYY!
  12. CONGRATS GIRLIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You look awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. OMGOSH This made me laugh! I got my braces on in June of last year about the same time my surgeon called me and said um don't gain weight and try to lose...THANK GOODNESS FOR MY BRACES at the time, I really think it helped me to lose 12 lbs. before my surgery. I'm not gonna lie...THEY ARE A PAIN IN THE BUTT! Especially eating in front of people. food is everywhere, but with that said I only have 4 months to go and so far I'm super happy with the outcome
  14. That's so wonderful! CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Sorry for my late response. My surgeon actually said to go cold turkey, but I went from taking 1 in the am and 1 in the pm to just 1 at night, then just stopped all together.
  16. So Linda, did you do it ?
  17. IN CRED IBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You look awesome! I'm soooo happy for you!
