Great Post, thanks. My experience with the band was very simular. I am nervous about getting sleeved, because the band was such a miserable experience... But thanks to you, and am feeling less anxious about it.

Thanks for sharing everyone, I too have the same anxiety over have another weight loss surgery. The lap band was a miserable failure for me, hoping the sleeve will be better.

uhhg.. I have the same sensitivity around my scar tissue where the port was. All my incisions look like they opened me up with a dull serrated steak knife. I wish I never had the stupid lap band! I'm getting sleeved on Aug 11, I hope its a better experience...

Hi There, New to this posting stuff...My story is much like yours, I was banded in 2007, and couldn't eat healthy foods. I was miserable, so I had the band taken out last Nov 2010. Now I am sceduled to have the sleeve done on Aug 11th. I'm very nervous about it. The band was such a miserable experience. Am I going to end up miserable again?
