I am SO bummed. I have lost 6 pounds from pre-op to now (almost 2 months). I even bought the lapband cook book .. still drinking Protein shakes.. UGH! What are you guys eating? HELP! -
Whew, thank you ladies! That does ease my mind! I am hiding the scale!

I have not yet had my first fill- I am three weeks post op and have lost three pounds! I have been eating about 200 calories per protein shake with 25g of whey protein... soft foods (eggs, cheese, tuna).. UGH! I am so discouraged! Would love to know how other first monthers are doing!?

How are you doing!? We got banded like the same day. I havent had my first fill yet--- three weeks of protein shakes and soft food and Ive lost... 3 THREE F'n pounds! SO BUMMED!

we are still watching the band rubbing. they will move my port if I choose to.
If you were just banded the first part of July, it took about 10 weeks for my port area to heal and not be such a bother.
I am 7 months post op and my port is located to high. Since I've lost so much weight it's rubbing against my rib when I sit in a certain position.

Day 5 post-op & feeling down

I also am home tonight- with my significant other and friend.. all my other friends are out, and the ones that are here are eating! I treated myself to a JambaJuice with protein... The thought of injuring myself was too much to bear... Nothing taste's as good as feeling good-feels -

I was banded 5 days ago and it feels like either my band or the port is rubbing. When I sit down, it feels like there is friction against.. lord knows what-- my ribs or diaphragm? It feels like something shifts inside of me. Then when in the seated position, its uncomfortable. Has anyone else had this issue! I am so nervous!

What ever happened with the port rubbing? I just got banded and its driving me nuts!
