It is the only protein drink that I still use from time to time. I mix it with fuit punch flavored crystal light and it taste pretty good.
  4. Hi Tiff, you look great. I want to thank you again for being such a book of knowledge to everyone on this site. You have been my greatest source of information from the time I started thinking about the sleeve last year.:001_tongue:
  5. I have zero regrets. The positive things motivate you to avoid the negative things I think. I thought I would miss the big meals, but I don't. I eat pretty much whatever I want, just less of it. It is the best thing I ever did for myself!!
  6. Just remember, the Surgeons give us the guidelines to follow for our own safety. A few weeks is a "drop in the bucket" as far as the rest of your life goes. Be careful and allow everything to heal up correctly. Also remember that good food choices now will develop into a new way of life that we all need for success with our sleeve. Good luck.
  7. I always enjoyed a big meal. I am 5 months post-op and do not miss the big meals at all. I pretty much eat anything I want, but less of it and have never had 1 second of regret. Instead of eating a 16 ounce ribeye, I now eat a 6 oz steak and a couple of bites of veggie and am very satisfied with that. The positive changes are far better than being able to eat big meals.
  8. Great site. Thanks for sharing!!
  9. Hi Emma, you will do great. The sleeve is an awesome tool. It is great that you are doing this at such a young age. Best wishes!!
  10. While planning my procedure, I only told a couple of my closest friends and family members. I did not want to hear the old "cut back and excercise" story from people that didn't know what they were talking about. Now that I have had the surgery, I tell everyone. I don't care what they think and hope to inspire someone else to get healthier. All I have had is positive feedback and everyone is excited about my success.
  11. I have been open about my provedure with everyone. If I can "inspire" 1 person to improve their health as I have, I will be very happy. I have not had any negative comments, only positive. If I get any negative comments, it will be to my back as I walk away from the ignorance!!
  12. Body Fortress from Wal-Mart. Also, the Unjury unflavored mixed with fruit punch flavored crystal light is good. Unjury must be ordered online.
  13. I have not regretted it for 1 second. It is the best thing I ever did for myself!!!
  14. Dr. Alvarez did my sleeve in April. I highly recommend him.
  15. The pros will continue to outweigh the cons by a long shot. Good luck.
