tuesday, i met my surgeon and i got a tentative date for dec 20th. today was my final 6th month appointment & im praying they submit my papers by tomorrow. i hope for a speedy approval. my insurance coordinator went home sick today so i wasnt able to sit & talk with her. QUESTION: how long after your papers were submitted to insurance were you approved? ****UPDATE**** i just talked to my nurse practioner & she said all my papers were submitted. yay!

i met my surgeon today and he gave me a tentative date! DECEMBER 20th. its PERFECT and the day i have been hoping and praying for. thursday is my 6th & final appt with my nutritionist and then we send everything in and wait. it turns out that my BMI is 49.9! YIKESSSS! its crazy because i hide it so well and people wouldnt guess that as my weight but i haaaate it. i cant wait to get surgery! PRAY FOR ME PLEASE!!! view my vlog at www.youtube.com/jasleeve

today i meet my surgeon! its now 12:25 & my appt is at 3:30. thursday is my final appt for my 6 month supervised diet. im praying for an approval by monday lol but i know im pushing it. i cant believe im here!!

yikes! have you talked to your surgeon? are you sipping instead of gulping? have they checked the opening to be sure that you have room for food?

very true! you definitely dont want to live on just Protein shakes. thats sad that the SIL is going so extreme! i think most likely, she had gastric bypass. i hear often that gastic bypass patients get really sick easily. as sleevers, we wouldnt get so sick so fast because we dont have malabsorption but i guess if we only lived on shakes forever, there would be similar consequences.

lol thats how i feel. but goooodness, id kiss the ground if my insurance company told me to lol. i just pray its not too long. and i pray its an APPROVAL! lol

ive heard stories of ppl being approved within 3hrs! i DOUBT im that lucky but goodness gracious, id be so happy!!!

i gained about 10lbs since the start. i meet my surgeon for the 1st time on tuesday & hopefully ill get a date! dec 1st marks my 6month appt.. hopefully he doesnt come down too hard on me.
