i know what you mean! i am not afraid of surgery but i was PETRIFIED of denial. i got approved on wednesday & the news was like hearring someone say u won the lotto. its so surreal. i went to my pre op appt today & im down 7lbs since i started my pre op diet on tuesday. im thankful. surgery is set for dec 20th at 8am.

i decided not to be open about my surgery because people are cruel. and ITS NO ONES BUSINESS! with that being said, only a limited few know. my mom. my brother. my 2 bestfriends. another friend. my ex. a childhood friend & my old hs teacher. my step dad. thats it. sounds like a lot of people but its not when you know hundreds of ppl. everyone else thinks im having surgery for a hernia. lol.

im going to go buy some today & have it with my salad. thanks for the advice! if i like it, ill learn how to make my own!

i absolutely love my dr and his staff. i live closer to lawrence & my grandma died in westchester medical, i could never. but im glad you enjoyed your experience

i know what taste youre talking about. lol. it doesnt bother me too much but its def not my fav! lol. i just cant wait to be sleeved! i dont feel mentally prepared whatsoever but i feel that no one really is... im scared about foods cuz ima very picky eater but im diving HEAD 1st & gonna deal with what comes after. scary stuff but i know if i dont do it now, ill never do it.

giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirl, i wish! lol. im doing more of a crash diet since its only 2 weeks. im having 1-2 shakes a day, water all day & a salad at night. itll be a while before surgery. 11 days (since its after midnight). the days would pass so much faster if i werent dieting. im hungry right now but im fighting it!!! lol. may god be with me!

im getting sleeved on the 20th and wasapproved on tuesday! im crossing all my fingers, toes & even my eyes for you! surgeons seem to always screw up somehow and not sleeving until october is CRAZYYYY! im praying for u hun!

i have a Vitamin shoppe down the street. does the pudding taste good? SF popsicles? is that something we make or can we buy it like that

hey lissa, i always look forward to reading your comments on other topics & im glad you answered mine! i have a few questions.. broth... which name brand did you buy? was it chicken broth? Soup... was it like campbell soup? any other ideas? i dont eat sea food unfortunately. & i am highly sensitive to spicy food & would drink the ocean if i had even a drop of hot sauce in my mouth. lol. thanks for responding! <3

thats sad that she could be so heartless! smh! who the hell does she think she is to pick & choose when you have SURGERY! not a day out shopping. not what time you have break. not what time you come in for work but surgery? she has nerve!
