  2. @Roux-en-McClanahan going, going, going, gone SOLD!!! kathy
  3. @LosinItOverHere and @Redo2017 such a sad statement true for many OP i felt the same way knowing the problem is 1/2 the solution never, never, ever compare yourself to others ie time it takes in losing weight if someone lost 10 lbs one week and you "only" lost 7 lbs - don't worry or be upset concentrate on YOU - no one else!! (except me of course) July 10th or 14th are the best date of the year for the sleeve LOL actually any date/month of surgey is the best for any individual - this becomes your day nerves, excitement are normal feelings you'll probably experiment these and other feelings during this pre-op phase read the boards, books etc continue to ask questions some ??"s might come up that you were curious about too!! wealth of info "out there" one more thing IMO don't get on that devil of a scale too often it can make you crazy "Knowledge is Power" good luck speedy recovery kathy
  4. @northstar9148 I've had a turkey neck since i was knee high to a grasshopper hate, hate, hated it!!!!! i had the beginning of a turkey neck through my 20's and then (hereditary from mom - going through my 4 sisters) last year took the plunge and i had a face lift now, i have only one chin "hanging" around!!! it looks great now when i'm walking, i keep my head held high - and my one and only chin "stands" pretty!! I am 5+ years PO - 4 yrs GOAL btw i - i had my PS done last year when i was 62 years YOUNG gobble, gobble (someone had to say it!!! good luck kathy
  5. your age has a lot to do with skin, "hanging " around!! your skin frequently bounces back better (how much depends on your starting weight) being younger (22)does help elasticty ) sorry no spellcheck!! i would rather have excess skin, over being overweight any day of the week, twice on Sunday don't let let excess skin prevent you from WLS good luck kathy
  6. @mom2tess simple answer from me i followed all the rules!! (most of the time) i'm not perfect, then again anything else, i would have been shot!! very, very, very important to stay hydrated - at least 64 oz protein galore - i did around 90 gr as far as going to the gym.... i didn't!!! i walked a lot daily, but that was basically it do as i say, not as i do!! stall are terrible good luck - don't get discouraged easier said than done "God Grant Me Patience, Just Hurry Up About It" kathy
