  2. @Dr-Patient- hi there - remember me?? being honest with yourself, realizing you messed up - but now wanting to get back on track. you'll do it. Maybe go to basics again to push the weight loss. You know what to do, you did it before!! Success will be in your vocabulary again. I can feel it!! i fluctuate a little - but not bad - i try and eat slower than i did in my previous life!! drink and drink - i love water, never really exercised butttt,,, i eat "pretty" well, but screw up too, eat some stuff i should not eat., eat a little more than i should, but honesty is the best policy for me! All newbies, don't do my bad stuff. " Do as i say, not what i do" all and all, do well/maintain and a very happy camper 6+ years plus with my sleeve! that is my story and i'm stickin' to it!! good luck kathy

  6. as my fingers were getting smaller/ thinner, my ring did appear to look bigger.! resized once - lookin good as my finger shrunk again, - resized again one more time!! All's well! kathy
  7. many., many OP have trouble eating eggs. i never had problems eating eggs. Add to the list that shows that we are different. Kathy
  8. @Dee_Rose my doc told me NO to pre-op liquid diet. Wish i did do liquids pre-op, would have given me a leg up on lbs before surgery. I vote, " get your head in the game" and start eating better immediately. Couple of weeks before WLS - do liquids only. good luck kathy
  9. After i reached GOAL - (and turning 60 yrs YOUNG) i got my first tattoo on my right hand/wrist. MAE - stands for the 1rst letter of each of my grand-kids names. M organ A ndrew E than looks great, but DH doesn't like tattoos, promised i wouldn't do another for 60 years - couple of months later, had a butterfly above my ankle - promised again, no more tattoos 6 months later - i had the word "survivor" above the butterfly!! Promised no more!! hmmmm - we'll see kathy

  13. @wanda247 I was told by my doc that i will not be allowed to drink anything with carbonation reading above posts i see some docs allow. As always, we/doc/nut are all given directions At the end of the day - listen/follow ONLY your doc/nut. good luck kathy

Ding, ding, dong - @Tealael wins the blue ribbon the sleeve was initially designed for ulcer/stomach cancer. it worked very well. doctors noted that OP were loosing weight. Thus. the "invention" of the sleeve for WLS - sorry you had the WLS surprise. hopefully your rib,back pain have been alleviated. good luck kathy

  24. @BrodieGL25 how much weight did you loose? beautiful, beautiful - great pics hope you never tire of hearing how amazing you look wish everyone would realize WLS is not that magic pill to weight loss nothing is easy - but working hard - rewards are so worth it 170 lbs gone (don't look at me, i didn't take them) good luck with maintenance - let the fun begin!! kathy congrats
