    Congratulaions and very inspiring
  2. I just arrived home from getting my sleeve. I could not be happier. Dr. Almanza and all his staff was wonderful. I didn't have to lift a suitcase. I met a lot of very nice sleevers and we struck up a bond. I went alone and never felt unsafe....I just tried to enjoy the experience and pretend I was on wls vaca. The weather was beautiful and I was cared for so well. It did take 2-3 hours to get across the border (return) but with all the vendors it was very entertaining. I splurged and got a wonderful upper body massage. Severo was my nurse and did a wonderful massage. I will have to go back when I get thin to get a strong handsome hispanic man to give me another massage. What is the saying what happens in Mexico stays in Mexico. lol
  3. Too funny, my Dad uses the same "wet paper bag" expression and he is an Arkansas Hillbilly! I always think of my innner skinny girl as being tough and I always have. I guess because I was the tomboy growing up. I guess that is why my fake name is boots, cause "these boots are made for walking and that is exactly what I'm gonna do...." lol
  4. Simply amazing and inspiring!!! Congrats.
  5. Hey gang, July 27 boots1 Ruby Sheila aslimmerme Our time is drawing nigh!!! After months of stalking this forum, buying protein powders of every kind, stocking up on vitamins, biotin ect. now it is finally showtime. We have been encouraging each other, preparing mentally for this battle of the mind.... to win and take control of our lives. We have to put away the devil of doubt and know this is a time of renewal and transformation, that we have been waiting on..... perhaps for years. This is our long awaited miracle. I am not nervous, I am at complete peace and just so very thankful for this opportunity. You are all in my prayers and thoughts. I hope you are all as excited as I am.
  6. Congrats to you all. May the Lord bless and keep you. May you all have peaceful sleep and sweet dreams.
  7. I am enjoying your blogs. Once during one of my many weightloss plans, a nurse told me, that you lose internal fat around your organs, then you lose inches when the fat is replaced, so probably about the same thing..
  8. Sending prayers your way!!!
  9. Hey Whodat, So glad you are doing better. You certainly did have some struggles. I hope they are all behind you.
  10. Don't be sad don't be mad.....be glad!!! July 27th is the best day of all!!! That is my day too!!! Look for the treasure in your trial!! I wish you a speedy recovery and rapid weight loss. I will see you on the losers bench.
  11. Welcome to the July group!!
  12. I was thinking the same thing....you should get a discount......perhaps royalties like the movie stars get. It so encouraging that the Firecrackers are doing so well. I hope we can all finish this monthe with a big bang. I hope your recovery stays smooth and slimming

Good for you..... I am excited for you. I think we get so use to the bulk we don't realize how much easier our lives will be with out. You have a tremendous testimony. I pray many more blessings comes your way.
  14. Congrats!!! I will posting when I see the 18's too.
  15. Ahhh Papa Jack, that is so sweet. See women love it when a man shows emotion. Ha! I haven't cried yet...I think I am so relieved to find other people who feel the same way as me. I always felt alone and like I was the only one with these issues and dealing with being overweight. I am a day behind you and I will be kicking you along. Hey look on the bright side, you shed some Water weight. lol Sandra
