Day 2 with my sleeve

Recommended Posts

All has gone as expected and I am about to be discharged from the hospital. Thankfully I have had little nausea. I am very sore and weak. The gas pain hasn't been too bad. I have only had ice chips, Water and jello; they went down easily. I have the most trouble with the liquid lortab. It burns as it goes down, but I do need it. The gas meds help too. I will have to travel home, a four hour drive, tomorrow. Ive got to stop and walk every hour. My doctor told me to sip water on the trip and start Isopure at home since it may make me nauseated. A funny thing happened on the way to surgery. They asked my consent for several other doctors from around the country to observe. I was their VSG lesson. LOL

LOL ask for payment as you donated your stomach to science. Good luck and we hope to see you posting often!

I was thinking the same thing....you should get a discount......perhaps royalties like the movie stars get. It so encouraging that the Firecrackers are doing so well. I hope we can all finish this monthe with a big bang.

I hope your recovery stays smooth and slimming

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
