I think the heat does effect my band. I live in Virginia and it's been so hot and muggy the past couple of weeks. Some days it's hard to keep liquids down.

I had no idea I had one until I woke up after surgery and the nurse told me. My Dr fixed it with a few stitches and I haven't had any heartburn since. Good luck

Hi Everyone. I was banded the last week in May 2011. My starting weight was 293 and now i'm down to 259. I'm not looking for complements but when will people say " Wow ! You've lost weight ! " Maybe the bigger you are , the more weight you must lose for people to notice ? Thanks

Awesome !!! Congrats!! I remember being at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Va and being asked to get off because the bar wouldn't come down enough. I was banded the last week in May 2011 and have lost 34 pds so far. Looking forward to riding roller coasters next spring.
