  1. Zumba for wii...I will have to check that out at Target.
  2. I would think about going it alone or find a sleeve buddy that is having one done the same day to go with. Or call some local surgeons for their cash price. I know my surgeons cash price is $12,000 hospital and all. And you can make payments. There are so many options, so let this one little thing bring you down.
  3. Glad you found something you can drink.
  4. Have you ever tried Zumba? Now that will make you sweat. You can get their DVD's online. Or watch some of them on youtube to get an idea of what its all about. Plus I know there are tons of Zumba classes everywhere. I've bought some dvd's and once I am able to exercise going to try it. Looks like fun. And I've heard lots of good reviews about it. Good luck. The pounds will come off again.
  5. Maybe its just your hormones. LOL Just kidding. I know how you feel. I haven't cried yet, but I know when I see that scale say 199, that will be my breaking point. I haven't seen that in forever. And to know I will never ever see it again will be a huge relief. I think its great you cried. This means alot to you. I can't wait to see the new you in a few months. Hugs,
  6. Congrats. It's so exciting, isn't it?
  7. Chef....I love Beans in my chili. Now my husband, would say...NO Beans in real chili. So I don't usually put beans in when I make it. But now that I need the Protein, that may change and he will have to adjust. LOL Now tofu.....ewwww....that is NOT Chili material. LOL
  8. Congrats Nancy, that is great.
  9. I love hot and spicy foods, I just hope I can still eat them when I get to the solid food stage.
  10. My husband also loves curvy/thick women. But he knows how important this is to me, to be healthly and just feel better about myself. One of my biggest concerns on whether or not to have this surgery was how he would feel about me when I get thinner. We have had long coversations about it. He assures me he won't leave me because I get thinner. Plus it would be stupid on his part, I'm to damn good to him. LOL I just can't wait until he can pick me up and do wild and crazy things...hehehehe. My husband is 6'4 and about 280. I'm only 5'1. So its gonna be fun.
  11. Glad you are feeling better.
  12. So you hear alot about wearing compression garments as you lose weight. At what point did you start wearing one? Do you think it really helps with the lose skin? And where did you get yours? What is your favorite and why? Any info on this subject would be appreciated.

  19. Well one week out and I've lost 7.7 lbs Woo Hoo! Myst....do you go to the post op classes at Baylor Plano? I'm also in menopause so I know that the surgery screwed with my hormones, even thought I'm on HRT. I think its getting better now. I can't wait for that POP to happen. LOL Did you have a large indention on your left side too? Nancy, WTG....we are on our way.
  20. I did have the cream of chicken soup from MyBariatricPantry today....wow, it was good. Tasted like Thanksgiving dinner. If I had drink cranberry juice with it, it would have been complete. LOL Went to order more from them and out of stock. Dang....and it has 15 gms of Protein too. Think I'm going to try adding pumpkin to one my vanilla shakes for something different.
  21. Good Luck tomorrow. We will be thinking about you. What kind of shapewear did you get? I need to start looking into that. I wonder when is the right time to start wearing it. I have my tummy binder from the hospital and I love it.

  23. Yep, my BP is low. So will track it a few more times tonight. Then tomorrow not take my BP meds and track it for a couple of days and if its more normal, then go see my PCP. Maybe I can finally get rid of the BP medicine.
