Does it hurt to get a fill? Needles don't bother me. I am the kind of person that does better if I know what is going to happen but wonder if it is painful?

Just wanting to know what you think about him? If you have used him? He seems really good.

We take alot of trips to WDW (disney world) with my family. Does the LB affect you if you ride fast rides, or rides that go up and down fast?

I am only telling close family and one of my close friends. Me and my friend are doing it together. We are not telling most people, because it is really more of a personal thing. If someone goes on a diet, you don't run around telling everyone you run into about it. So why should this be any different. We think it is good to have each another to go through this because we know its not going to be easy, so for now we just are not saying anything and just want to try and do the best we can to lose weight so we can both do more with our kids and husbands and have a much better quality of life! Thats what I love about this web site. Its a place for support and not being judged! Thanks everyone!

I was just wondering if there was an average of how much weight loss there is the 1st month, since the 1st month is the biggest change for everyone.

I am working on getting the LB for Feb/March. And I have been reading from here that a lot of you have had really bad Gas Pain. If you have had it, could you tell me any tips on how to help with Gas Pain. I already get gas pretty easy so I am worried about having it really bad after the LP is put in.

WOW SweetSue, I have been getting ready to have the LB. And you said you were losing the fill somewhere? Sounds like you might have a leak? I was told by my doctor that it is rare but does happen. And when it does it needs to be replaced-ASAP. Have you asked your doctor about this possiblity?
