  5. Oh also, i didnt really "carb up" i ate like normal, i have found on my weekend runs hydration and some small bites of carb and Protein along the way keep me going well enough.
  6. I worked all week on hydration, normally i run 10 mile every weekend and wear a camel pack so i dont worry about it because i can sip as i go an i put some shot blocks electrolite blocks in the pocket as well as a couple of the agave and Peanut Butter packets then every couple miles i eat a shot block and half way have some peanut butter. Works perfectly. But the Mudder is of course muddy!!! Lol so i didnt wear the pack. The morning of the race i ate a yogurt 3 hours before a protien bar 1 hour before and 20 oz of gatorade in the last hr leading up to the start. I carried one pack of shot blocks in a pocket and opened them at mile 5 hit every Water station and got in about 5 oz of water. I was dehydrated at the end but managed. If you do a marathon wear a camel pack! I am doing the OKC half april 29 and will have my camel pack with gatorade and shot block, peanut butter and a Protein bar.

  12. Ok, i have learned i am a goal person. I have been floundering since reaching goal. So i am moving on to physique goals. I am between 158-163 on most days. I want to add 15lbs of pure muscle. I know many say u cant really donthat with the sleeve. But i dont agree! I have soent the past two months getting my protien up to 125-135grm a day. I know i need to increase it to about 175-200 to really pack on muscle fast, however, I believe i can take a slower approach and get there. I thought i would begin keep track here so if others want to join me, or have advice/questions then maybe this phase of the journey can be helpful to others as well. :-) GodSpeed
